Snowy and blowing. We went to church. Rev. Blankenship back. Ruth and I started for Singspiration at Mills, but was too stormy. New Jersey neighbor arrived. Pipes froze. Merrill went over to help Carl Kellenbeck start his furnace. Called Aunt Maude.

Uncle Berl’s birthday. 4-H flower orders to be in. Sent it today. I went to Philadelphia for groceries and to bank. Cleaned house. Merrill went to Philadelphia in PM. Got hair cut. Took Lodge check to Carl K. Jim Hardy here. George, age 82 died yesterday. Sent Insurance, $281.53.

I took Ruth, Pearl, Vi, and Leah to Full Gospel Meeting. Cota Deir speaker. We went to funeral home for George Hardy. We went to Centennial Dance and program in evening. Very nice. Pat B went back to New Jersey. Came over before he left.

Vern flies to Maryland. Sent Roberta card, letter, and $5. Sent for Billy Graham’s gift. Sent $10 for crusade. We went to Philadelphia for jars in AM. Went to Bible Study at Payne’s with Ruth in evening. About everyone that went to Full Gospel had the bug.

Foggy. Roberta’s 20th birthday. There are 1000 4-H members in Jefferson County, 4 million in US. Fried donuts. Still foggy in evening. Cactus plant has blossom. Vern and June called in evening. He had good trip to Maryland. Gets his degree [Ph.D.] June 3rd.
