Took car to Gouverneur to have carburetor fixed. Got shoes & purse. Les Hall’s auction.

Carl, Gloria, & girls left at noon. Washed & cleaned. Jim went skating. We went up to Jim Hardy’s to see puppy.

Got to Vern’s about 10:30. Rented motel for 2 days. Went to Washington, D.C. Hit little Negro girl crossing street. Not hurt bad.
