I don’t feel too good today. Mary, Irene, & I, went to Gardner’s at noon for paint.

Frogs are hollering tonight. Mother & Dad Tryon’s 53rd anniversary. Initiation at Rebekah’s. I was the angel. Had 7 candidates. 3 of them Natural Bridge.

Past Noble Grands district meeting at Antwerp. Nice dinner. Beatrice Hubbard, Natural Bridge new President.

I was sick all day. Merrill & Jim went to George Henderson’s auction. Huge crowd.

Jim & I went to city. He got glove. $23.65. Merrill finished at Myrtle Duff’s. Got oil changed & grease job. Jim raked yards.

Painted kitchen wall & waxed floor. Jim went over to Marty’s. Lillian Hall married to Jerry Shampine.

Marty came home with Jim to stay over night. Arlene & Howard Decker have baby boy. Jeffrey Lynn. 7 pounds, 14 ounces.

I went to Rebekah’s. Heard today that Lillian Hale was married Sunday.

Jim played baseball game after school. Swell day.

Jim planned high school subjects to become State Trooper. Norm Honeywell’s auction. Beautiful day. No riders home tonight. Fran & I have gone walking every noon this week.

I went to Theresa for groceries. Beautiful day. We all went to 4-H at Kiechle’s. Cilley family were there. Walter Bacon died tonight.

Jim went fishing with Howard & Lynn. Merrill & I went for ride to Ogdensburg. Ate lunch at Gouverneur. Win Brown got hurt with tractor.

Colder. Merrill & Howard went looking for drill to city & all over. Sent Davie card. He has mumps.

Very rainy & windy in PM. Went to Past Grands at Myrtle Duff’s.

Nice again. Terrible windy last night. Power was off for 6 hours. Called Aunt Keitha. Fuller Brush man was here. Jim stayed at Marty’s.

Beulah Strader Gilmore called to say Everett Strader died last night. I let folks know. Called Vern also. Cherrie’s body got here this morning. also Velma.
