Vernon got home tonight. Got to city about 4:00 PM. I went to Past Noble Grands Christmas party at Leah’s. Marguerite B was my Secret Pal. Raining.

I went to Gouverneur in AM. We all went to city in PM. Finished shopping. Vern & Jim went to 4-H Christmas party at Gary McKeever’s. Raining.

Beautiful day. Warm. No snow. Vern went to Theresa. Got our first colored film for camera. Didn’t go to church.

Jim is sick with flu. 100 plus temperature when I got home. Merrill went to lodge. Merrill won drill in raffle but didn’t take it as he had one like it.

Got package from Uncle Berle. 36 girls from Olga went to Margia’s for dinner. Worked until 3:30. No riders home. Had our tree in evening. I got watch & fry pans. Merrill, coat. Jim basketball & table tennis. Vern, sport coat.

Grand day. I had to work 8:00 – 12:00. Got groceries at A&P. Mary & girls were here. Mary, Lynn, Merrill & I, went to Rebekah card party.
