Cold & rainy. Merrill & I went to Antwerp to vote but we weren’t registered. Snowy in evening. Howard went to doctor’s at Syracuse.

Snowed so hard we couldn’t get to Grange. Started but turned around & came home. Installation of officers.

Snow on ground this morning. Rained about all day. Got candy bars for Juvenile Grange.

Merrill helped Lynn put on shingles. Washed clothes in evening.

I took grange kids & Margaret Waters to meeting at Watertown. Bennett’s were here in PM. Merrill helped Lynn Hall put on shingles.

Real cold. Got letter from Vernon. Is working some in cafeteria. Nellie Thibault started riding with me.

Very cold & frosty this morning. Clara Mount’s funeral today. She died Saturday night.

Made $1.70 today. 5 dozen facings. Merrill, Jim, & I went to open house meeting at Theresa school. Very nice. I didn’t go to lodge.

Grand day. No school. Tired tonight. Wrote Vernon.

Grand day. Went to bank for Vernon during noon hour. Ate lunch with Aunt Myrtle. Jim didn’t have school today.

Cleaned kitchen floor & cleaned. Merrill & I went to city. Got battery for tractor. $6.98 & old battery.

Raining. We all went to church. Shellacked stair steps. Chuckie Wilson was here to see Jim in PM.

Grand day. Merrill went to lodge.

Lucy didn’t ride today. Nice day. Baked cakes in evening.

Lucy started riding home with me nights. I went to Grange. Wrote Mom tonight. Lynn Hall helped Merrill plow. Got letter from Mom.

Warm today. I started working on darts today. Home Bureau meeting was canceled. That was supposed to be here tonight. Lynn was here plowing.

Very warm. Lucy didn’t ride home tonight.

Washed. Baked pies & cookies. Merrill & Jim went to Mills for plow points & Theresa for lumber. Got letter from Uncle Berle.

Finished ironing. Cleaned. Didn’t go to church. Snowed all day. Very slippery. Lots of accidents. 100 cars stalled on Hoodoo Hill. Snow plow by for first time this year.

Lucy didn’t ride today. Very slippery in morning. Got letter from Marg & Mom. Nellie paid up for what she has rode. $4.75.

Vernon came home for Thanksgiving vacation. Got in city at 5:30. Lucy didn’t ride home in evening. Very slippery in morning.

Cloudy. Vernon dressed turkey. Made cake & got turkey ready in evening. Flaherty brought coal.

Thanksgiving. We were home alone all day. Grand day. Had turkey dinner.

I had to work today. Nice day. Lucy paid up for riding. $5.00.

Men went up to Philadelphia in AM. Did Vernon’s wash & ironing. Wrote Mom.

Lucy rode today but is riding with Don rest of week. Josephine C. rode home. Went to Sears during noon hour.
