Finished springs work. Wet year. No school. Washed & ironed some. Boys & I went to city. Got Vern 2 pair shoes size 10. Jim got cap. Merrill helped Shorty Hill on Pollock’s garage. Merrill & Vernon finished planting oats. We planted garden in evening.

Mrs. Hagan, Helen, Carl, & kids were here in evening. She has sold them the farm. We went out to give blood for Jenny Delles. Wouldn’t take mine.

Uncle Ed was here. Aunt Edna isn’t too good. Rained in evening. I went to see Dr. Roberts. Gave me B-12 shot & iron pills. Have to go back 3 more times. I helped at Father & Son banquet in dining room. Only 50 out.

Vernon made 2 lawn chairs for Laurence & Jean [Hanson]. Rained hard most of day. 3 accidents in Philadelphia. One on overhead & two on death curve. Merrill & I went over town in evening & delivered P.N.G. gifts.

Fresh Airs arrive. Helen came for 2 weeks for her 5th visit with us. Age 13 1/2 years. She first came in 1948. I have had horrid headache all day.
