Went to city & out home. Took Don’s canned stuff out. Vernon sold 1/2 case eggs @ $.55 medium. Merrill & I went over to Uncle Ray’s in evening. Mae & Gilson came there.

Boys went to Sunday School. Boys & I went to church. Merrill has terrible cold. Stopped at Uncle Roy’s to tell Mae & Gilson good-bye. Started huck towel.

Washed & ironed. Finished huck towel for church bazaar. Made pop corn balls for church bazaar. Merrill went to Lodge.

Election day. Eisenhower won election by a landslide. I worked on bazaar (W.S.C.S.) at Grange Hall. Made $15.00 on supper & bazaar.

I went to city & gave blood for Red Cross. Aunt Maude, Mr. Klock, Vi, & I gave [blood]. No Juvenile Grange as 4-H had achievement night at school. Doris moved out home from Harrisvile.

Sleepy today. I went to Home Bureau at Edna Fikes in evening. Quick breads. Raining. Dorland & Pat have baby boy. Dennis Vincent.

Snowing. Doris Webb was over after eggs.

Ground white with snow this morning. Grand day. Put on storm windows.

Boys went to Sunday School. We drove out home in PM. Mom had gone to Uncle Earle’s. Brenda weighs 12 pounds.

Washed & ironed. No school We all went to city. Vi & Martha went with us. Vernon got new shaper. Merrill went to Lodge. Made him sandwiches to take.

No school. I was on refreshment committee for W.S.C.S. meeting at Mary Beebe’s. Merrill played darts in evening.

Nice day but cool. I went to Lodge.

Tailoring techniques. 2nd lesson at city. Vivian M. & Kay R. went with me. Saw Edith & Evelyn & Dot at city. Grand day.

We went to meeting at Nevilles to organize 4-H. Merrill was elected leader.

Grand day. Like spring. Jim is sick. Merrill & I went to Gouverneur Xmas shopping.

Grand day. Boys went to Sunday School. Bill, Dorothy, twins, & Fran’s were here in PM. Ben K. was here. Brought writing paper.

Washed & ironed. Baked cookies. Merrill went to Lodge. Uncle Ray brought over crib for Roberta to sleep in.

Lodge drill practice. I went.

I took 3rd lesson on tailoring techniques. Eleanor & Roberta came tonight. No Grange as kids went to church.

Haven’t got much done except visit. Vernon went to game. Eleanor, Roberta, & I went to Home Bureau meeting at Dot S.

My birthday. Eleanor, Roberta, Merrill, & I went to Gouverneur shopping. Eleanor gave me stockings. Merrill got me steam iron.

Eleanor & Roberta went home today. Jim & I went out home & stayed all night.

Merrill & Vernon came out to Dad’s for dinner. Uncle Earle’s, Grandpa, & Mary were there in PM.

Washed & ironed. Merrill went to Lodge.

Grand day. Merrill, Vickie, & I went to Limerick. Vernon went to game at Chaumount.

Boys got out of school at noon. I went to Lodge. Merrill played darts. Vicky & boys went to show. Doris & Freddie have baby boy born at 3:15 AM. Sent order to Spiegels.

Thanksgiving. We went out home for dinner. No snow on ground but it rained & we had a few snow flurries. Uncle Ray came after Vickie.

Ground covered with snow. We all went to city. Vernon got gifts for Sunday School. Got candy bars. I froze beets & carrots.

Baked & cleaned. Worked on Lodge questionnaire in evening.

Boys went to Sunday School & church. I went to church. Snowy & cold.
