Mary Stinson died today. Was 85 years old. Postponed Home Bureau because of storm.

Vernon brought home his ship clock he made at school. It’s beautiful. Had Home Bureau at Dorothy Sivertson’s. 4th dress lesson. Snowed hard coming home.

Edith Barker called and said Mary Stinson was dead & her funeral was this afternoon Merrill & I went to the funeral. Had nice visit with Orens & Edith. I helped at Grange supper when I got home.

Lazy day. Wrote some letters. Mrs. Hagan, Art Hagan, & children were here in evening. Also Helen & children.

They put in new milk cooler. Sent for Venetian blinds & curtains. Washed & ironed. Merrill went to Lodge.

I went to W.S.C.S. at parsonage. Nice day. Home Bureau had Bingo party for Camp Wabassa.

Rainy. Snowing & blowing in evening. We all went to Grange. Merrill was appointed to finish year as Overseer. Alice Flaherty resigned.

World Day of Prayer at church. Was from 25° to 35° below zero last night. Merrill & I went to city. Got kitchen linoleum & 6 kitchen chairs.

Still awful cold. Cleaned & baked. Kitchen pipes burned out. Let fire out for night.

Awful cold around here this morning. Cleaned kitchen pipes. Plow has been in 3 times but road has been full. Blowing hard.

Kamargo’s delivered 6 kitchen chairs & linoleum for kitchen. Raining. Roads very slippery. School let out early because of ice. Washed kitchen curtains.

Put up kitchen curtains. Washed kitchen woodwork. I went to Rebekah’s in evening. Jim had Valentine party at school.

Grand day. 4°. Got letter from Mother Tryon saying Kessel was in hospital. Merrill put down kitchen linoleum.

Party at Leah & Claude’s for Doris & Freddie. We all went. Merrill & I went out to hospital to see Kessel. He is feeling better.

Foggy all day. We went out home for dinner. Stopped at Merrill’s folks. Elmer hasn’t gone back in army yet.

Raining. Merrill & I went up to hospital to see Kessel. Also visited with Archie Holmes. He isn’t very good. Got Venetian blinds for living room.

Boys got out at 2:30 for weekend. We all went to Grange in evening. I fixed baskets for Grace H. & Margaret W. from Lodge.

Aunt Maude, Merrill, & I went to city. Took calf to sale. Kessel went home from hospital. Merrill took him home. I went to 3rd home nursing lesson in evening.

Nice day but cold wind. I went to Home Bureau program planning meeting at Antwerp with Flora & Marg. Jim has ear ache. Acted on parsonage committee.

Vernon taken sick with flu today. Jimmy is feeling better. Baked cakes & cookies. Made cake for church supper.

Grand spring day. Vernon quite sick today. Temperature 104°. We didn’t go to church. Wrote letter to Mom.

Jim went back to school but Vernon is still in bed. Temperature is down. I’m getting flu now. Got letter from Mom & Dad. They have flu.
