Went to party in evening for Bill & Vi’s 14th anniversary which was Tuesday. Baked. Party at Esther & Ernie Buker’s.

Boys & I went to church & Sunday School. Cleaned cupboards.

Washed & ironed. Merrill went to Lodge. They played dart baseball at Theresa.

W.S.C.S. meeting here. 25 present. Very muddy.

Merrill & Vernon went out home with Claude. Martha came home from school with Jim. Bill & Vi came over in evening after her. I didn’t go to Bible study.

Merrill, Jim, & I went to city. Got Vernon new shirt. Jim shoes. Worked on suit in evening.We didn’t go to communion at church [Maundy Thursday] Merrill went to Lodge at Evans Mills.

Went to Good Friday Service in PM. Stopped at Vi’s. Worked on suit.

Finished suit. Fixed Vernon’s suit. Pressed Merrill’s, Jimmy’s, & Vernon’s suits. Did baking.

Easter Sunday. Boys & I went to Easter breakfast.We all went to Sunday School & church. Large attendance. Grand day.

Dad’s birthday. Washed & did ironing. Merrill went to Lodge. Grand day. Carl was over & he & Merrill took down some of old electric light line.

All day Grange meeting at YMCA. Lula & I went. Rebekah practice in evening. Raining.

Initiation at Rebekah’s. 89 there. Was very nice. 7 candidates. Baked bread & cake

Bible study #7. I went. Kind of tired today. Betty, Abby, & Uncle Len were here for supper.

Went out home for dinner. Vernon took Dad a lamp he made him for his birthday. Stopped at post office to see Uncle Berle.

Uncle Berle came about 6:30 to spend the weekend. Cleaned & baked.

Uncle Berle, boys & I went to church. Quite a few there. Uncle Berle went home about 9:00 PM.

All tired out today. Have a horrid cold. Boys went back to school. Rode bicycle. Merrill went to Lodge.

Washed clothes. A gunman held up a truck (William Slate) on Antwerp road. Escaped into woods. Grand spring day.

Not feeling too good. Have sore throat. We all went to Grange. Used new Juvenile Collars for first time. Thunder storm 6:00 PM.

Bible Study #8. I went. Have terrible headache. Merrill built fence.

Merrill & I went to city. Got groceries & flowers etc. for Lodge Past Grands party. Feeling a little better today. Throat not so sore.

Cleaned & baked. Feel pretty good today. Merrill had tooth pulled. Got letter from Mom.

Boys & I went to Sunday School & church. Rainy & cloudy.

Washed clothes. Was sick in evening with cold. Had terrible fever. Merrill went to Lodge.

Did ironing. No Bible study as Aunt Lou is sick with pneumonia. Virginia Dallas had operation.

Baked pies, cakes. Went to Lodge in evening. Lodge entertained Past Noble Grand. I had charge of dining room. 46 present. Went over town in PM.

Had Home Bureau meeting here in evening. 12 present. Elected officers. Have terrible cold. Merrill went to Antwerp to see about yearling bull.

Have felt horrid all day. Cough a lot. Vernon started making picket fence for back yard.

Nice day. Vernon rode his bicycle over to John & Charles’. Baked pies & cake. Nice day but wind kind of cold.Virginia D had another operation. Gall stones.

We didn’t go to church. We all worked cleaning yards etc. Merrill took off storm windows.
