Still hot. Got my fleet iron home. Cost $3.50. Washed slip covers. Mom called & said they had postponed reunion. Went to Lodge doings in evening.

Cloudy. Muggy day. We stayed home all day. Ate our dinner on the porch with the flies. Ironed slip covers.

W.S.C.S. on church lawn. I didn’t go. Had to hay it. Washed clothes. Cleaned & waxed all the rugs. Merrill, Kessel, & Jim went to Adams. Kessel went to bank.

Dot brought Juanita & Donna out to stay until Tuesday. Finished filling hay mow over cows. 34 load. Hay awfully light this year.

Rebekah & IOOF picnic at Grasse Point. Rained so we didn’t go. Some went. We drove up to the park in PM. Carl, Kil, & Uncle Ray were over.

Merrill, Jim, Juanita Donna & I went to city. Got Merrill & Vernon new wrist watches. Ordered bicycle for Jim. Got my first telegram. Miriam can’t come this year. Started dress for Juanita.

Fresh Air kids arrive. Only Helen came. Juanita, Donna, Jim, & I went over & got her. Juanita got rest of teeth fixed. $29.00. Washed clothes.

Helen, Jim & I took Juanita & Donna back to Dorothy’s. Merrill went to city for part for rack.About 50 loads of hay in.

Kids went to Buck Creek swimming. Red Cross gave free lessons. I drove tractor today. Kids & I went to ice cream social in evening. Helen skipped rope. Cool today.
