All day W.S.C.S. meeting at Mrs. Whitfords. 19 there. Had a very nice time. Got our new phone list. Talked with Aunt Maude, Helen, & Beulah.

Electric light men are surveying new line. New telephone number is 8511. Dial phone went into effect at 7:00 AM but is wired up wrong. Telephone men were here at 6:30 PM & wired it right. Wrote Mom. We went to Grange.

Vern went to Boy Scouts. All day Home Bureau meeting at Adah Bacon’s. I didn’t go. Took meat over to locker. Rebekah drill practice in evening. I went. They took out old phone. Got letter from Mom. Sent card to Alice.

Snowed all day. Got letter from Mother Tryon. Talked with Aunt Maude. Worked on Mom’s dress.

Cold but nice. Went out home. Stopped at Adams. Carl is home on furlough before going to Japan.

Rebekah initiation. Nice night. Had 86 there. I got home at 2:30 AM. Took Leah home.

Went to city. Got curtain material for upstairs. Went over to Alice & Cliff’s to see Martha Alice. Got big Ward catalog.

Very cold. Sent for supplies for World Day of Prayer. Kids sent Valentines. Went to Valentine Party at Allen’s.

Mother Tryon’s birthday. (60 years) Grand day. Snow about all gone. I went over to Fike’s to card party in PM. We went to Grange in evening. Boys went to show.

Merrill & boys went to church. Merrill had part in service. Layman’s Sunday. My cold is worse so I couldn’t go to church.
