Talked with Helen. Nice warm day. Jim & I planted sweet corn across tracks. Was over to Helen’s. Aunt Maude was over. Ceil & Howard were here after oats.

Talked with Beulah, Alice, Mrs.Ronas, Vi, Aunt Maude, & Lula. Uncle Ray’s birthday. Went over town twice. Was over to Aunt Maude’s. Aunt Maude & I went to shower for Lois.

Men finished springs work. Went over to Aunt Maude’s in evening for Uncle Ray’s birthday. Men went fishing. Got 9. Aunt Maude got letter saying Baxter had left Beulah.

Uncle Ray & Aunt Maude’s anniversary party here. Was 30 here. Gave them lamp. Milk tester & wife arrived with trailer.

Merrill got new rubber tired wagon. $200.00. Aunt Maude & Uncle Ray’s 25th anniversary. They left for trip to Canada. Grandpa [Albert Haggerty] came over here to stay while they are gone. Helen was here. Tester left.

Cloudy. Merrill & I went to city. Got new Dormeyer electric mixer. $29.95. Grandpa, Jim & I went for ride to Antwerp.

Children’s Day. Grandpa, boys, & I went to church. Mrs. Hagan, Helen, Carl & boys were over in PM. Uncle Ray & Aunt Maude got home from Canada.

Arlene & Howard wedding. Merrill & I went. Grandpa went to Angie’s with us. We had supper at Angie’s. Stopped at Dad’s & Marg’s. Uncle Ray & Kessel did milking.

Kessel’s birthday (32) Went out home for dinner. Ken & Eleanor were there also. Stopped at Adams. Took cake for Mom & Dad.

Got card from Arlene & Howard. Helen, Carl Perrin were here. Merrill sprained ankle. Jim & I went to Adams after Kessel. Washed clothes. Uncle Ray & Grandpa were over to help milk.

Louis-Wolcott fight postponed because of race. Merrill’s foot is quit a lot better. I went to Lodge. Last meeting until fall. Men were to show. Terrible thunder storms. Power off.

Awfully muggy. I went with Aunt Maude after Lila’s girls. We went to show to see reel of show from last night. Bill, Vi & Martha were here. Louis-Wolcott postponed again.

John Kiechle birthday. Gave myself Toni wave. Talked with Aunt Maude. Joe Louis & Joe Wolcott fight. Louis won. Said it was his last fight.

Gloria graduates from high school. Went out to Uncle Earl’s for family gathering. People came from Canada. About 90 there. Went over to Uncle Earl’s in evening too.

Washed & ironed. Men moved kitchen stove & connected water heater. Fixed shower down cellar. Talked with Helen, Aunt Maude, She was over in evening. Merrill went to Lodge.
