Took calf to sale and did shopping. Got Easter hat & suit. & Vernon sweater. Grand day. Talked with Mrs. Keichle.

Raining & windy. Baked & cleaned. Talked with Mrs. Suits & Leah. Also Vi.

Easter. Vernon & Jim were baptized. Merrill & I joined the church. Grand day. Water awful high. Boys & I went to Sunrise service at 7:00 AM. Went to show. Stopped at Uncle Rays.

Took Vernon out home. Was there for dinner. Merrill isn’t feeling good. Water has gone down over town. Talked with Aunt Maude & Helen.

Washed clothes. Went to W.S.C.S. at church. Had cow drop dead. Talked with Helen, Mrs. Keichle. & Lulu.

Snowing. Merrill feeling better. I went to Lodge in evening. Did ironing. Sent Vernon & Dad card. Talked with Helen & Mrs. Keichle.

Nice day. We went to dance at High School. Westward Ho played. Mrs. Keichle called. Got card from Vernon.

I’ve been sick in bed with grippe. Talked with Helen & Mrs. Keichle. Real warm. Got letter fro Gloria. Frogs are hollering for first [time].

Windy & rainy. Feeling better. Talked with Mrs. Keichle & Helen.

Vernon came home from Mother’s. Don, Juanita & Donna were here for supper.

Merrill started building fence. Washed & ironed. Talked with Helen. School started after Easter vacation.

Aunt Lizzie Hanson funeral. Cleaned bathroom. Merrill & Vernon went to farm show. Talked with Mrs. Keichle. Sent cards to Mom, Angie & Dr. R.

Snowing awfully hard. Mrs. Hagan went to Theresa hospital last night with grippe. Talked with Helen & Mrs. Keichle. Terrible explosion in Texas.

Wrote Aunt Mildred. Sent card to Mrs. Hagan. Talked with Helen & Mrs. Keichle. Merrill & boys went to G.L.F. show. I practiced at Lodge.

Mrs. Hagan got home from hospital. We went out to Angie’s for dinner. Also over to Ken’s. Talked with Helen.

Got letter from Mom. Aunt Keitha isn’t very good.

Wrote Mom. Took 2 calves to sale. Saw Dorothy. Went over to Addie K. Stopped at Aunt Maude’s. Talked with Mrs. Keichle & Helen.

Awfully windy. Merrill & Vernon helped set out trees. Got radio home. Talked with Cora, Helen & Mrs. Keichle. Feeling awfully weak.

Daylight time started at 2:00 AM. Raining hard. Boys & I went to church.
