Snowing awfully hard. Merrill went with milk but roads plugged rest of the day.

Got letter from Mother Tryon. Not so stormy, no wind. Beulah’s house has burned. Talked with Helen, Mrs. Keichle & Aunt Maude & Mercer’s. Keichels got a road broke with team. Merrill skied over town.

Got milk out with team. 4 cans sour. First since Sunday. Vernon walked over town. Talked with Helen, Mrs. Keichle & Mrs. Hogan. Sent cards to Dad’s, Tryon’s & Aunt Maude.

Merrill worked all night shoveling in front of plow. Got our road open. Plugged 6 days. Talked with Helen, Mrs. Keichle. Got letter from Arlene.

Merrill worked all night again. Got letter from Elmer from Japen. Letter from Juanita. Wrote Eleanor. Jim’s ear started running. Talked to doctor.

Quiet day. Wrote letter to Mom. Called Aunt Maude, Helen, Mrs. Keichle. The town barn caught fire so Merrill didn’t have to work.

Vernon went back to school for first since storm. (Since February 28) Some schools not open yet. Washed & ironed. Merrill went to city for truck plates with Keichels. Wrote Mom.

Merrill drawed milk with new truck. Started cleaning house. Cleaned dining room. Merrill worked from 11:00 to 5:00. Mom called. Ethel is there.
