Don left for woods. Got letter from Marg. I went over to Carrie D to W.S.C.S. Merrill started on woodshed.

Aunt Maude & Uncle Ray went to Canada to Aunt Marshie’s funeral. (Olive Bowman’s mother.)

Talked with Aunt Maude & Helen. Wrote to Angie & Mrs. White.

Terrible thunder storm. Uncle Ray went to Geneva for feed.

Went up to the woods to see Don. Talked with Aunt Maude & Helen. Grand day.

Washed clothes. Went over town. Jim & I went over to Mrs. Keichle’s. Talked with Aunt Maude. Wrote Mom.

Went up to see Dr. Robert’s. Had letter from Mom. Went to Black River and bought horse. Helen called.

Merrill went after horse. Bob called. Mr. & Mrs. Hagan were here. Went to Lodge in evening. I drove.

Went over town. Over to Helens & Webb’s. Merrill started putting in cement in woodshed.

I helped Merrill put in shed floor. Mr. & Mrs. Hagan were here. Talked with Mrs. Keichle.

Was over town twice. Got letter from Polly.

Father’s Day. Dad, Mom, Ken & Eleanor were here for dinner. Grand day. Real warm.

Washed clothes. Hank was over. Men started work on granary. Bob came back to work. Merrill went to Lodge.

Did ironing. Helen called. Rainy & cold.

Painted living room floors. Aunt Maude was over. Sent card to Arlene.

Dad & Mom were out & got 2 calves. Brought me 3 dresses. Got letter from Mrs. Hungerford.

Oren, Edith & Evelyn came out after Arlene. Vernon went home with them. Mr. & Mrs. Hagan were here. Talked with Helen. Went to Antwerp in evening to Sallys show.

Went over town in evening. Still awfully hot.

Still hot. Cleaned up what hay that was cut. Went over town. Saw Mr. Keichle’s garden. Was over to Hagans.

Went to church. Hottest day yet. Slept all afternoon. Uncle Ray and Aunt Maude were here in evening.

Washed clothes. Rained & stormed in PM. Went to show in evening. Sent cards to Vernon, Arlene & Hungerford’s.

Had fresh peas from our garden. Colder. Cleaned car. Ironed. Uncle Ray started haying over here.

There is a freight train wreck near here toward Antwerp. No trains all day. Only wreckers. Took Hagans over peas. Went to wreck.

Went out home to Aunt Mildred’s and Hungerford’s. Saw parade at Adams. Roy & Marg were here for supper. Went over to wreck again.

Cleaned. Talked with Helen. Mr. Hagan not feeling so good. Aunt Maude was in after eggs.

We picked peas to can. Baked pies & cookies. Went to show in evening. Enchanted Forest. very good.

Aunt Maude called & said Aunt Alice is dead at [in] Canada. Canned 28 pints peas. Ben was over in evening. Talked with Helen & Mrs. Keichle.

Washed. Raining. Cleared at evening & clothes got dry. Sent card to Marg.

Ironed. Sent card to Marg & Mom. Talked with Helen. Mrs. Hagan & Mrs. Keichle. Electricity partly off. Merrill took milk to Mercer’s at night.

Grand day. Aunt Maude was here in evening. Talked with Mrs. Carter. Started putting hay in hay barn. Helen & boys were over after pie plant.

Got 1/2 ton coal for winter. Merrill got new slack suit. Talked with Mrs. Hagan.

Rainy. Mrs. Keichle got my watch at city. Went huckleberrying in evening with Helen & Francine. Got card from Marg. Roy is sick.

Sent order to Spiegels. Been in bed all afternoon. Merrill went over town in evening.

Went out home for dinner. Went down to see Ken’s farm in PM. Keichles were here in evening.

Washed clothes. Aunt Maude was here.

Started ironing. Showed Vernon how to drive [tractor]. Uncle Ray’s finished haying. Wrote Aunt Mildred.

Ironed. Has been quite cool. Mr. Hagan went to Watertown again to hospital. Talked with Helen. Mr. Suits was here.

Lowell Waters drowned in creek by Hardy’s. We were over to Hank’s in PM. Talked with Helen & Mrs. Keichle.

Hottest day of the summer. 100°. Sent cards to Marg & Mom & letter to license board. Was over to Aunt Maude’s.
