Snowplow opened road down from Barkers this morning. Cold but nice.

Went over home in PM. Ken is sick in bed with tonsillitis. Wrote letter to Elmer. Grandma H. is in hospital for treatment.

Cold & cloudy. Went to Ellisburg & over home. Merrill & Vernon got Xmas tree. Took one to Ronnie & Nancy.

The folks received Loren’s Purple Heart. No special celebration on our anniversary. Went to Lorraine in evening. Washed clothes. Set up Xmas tree & decorated it. Sent Xmas cards & letters to Grandma & Ethel. Sent order for Marie, Wards.

Having a blizzard. Vernon didn’t go to school because of storm. Got first Xmas card. (Aunt Keitha) Plow was over 3 times.

Vernon went to school half day. Get out at noon for Xmas vacation. Went to Adams, Lorraine, & Dad’s. Grandma got out of hospital yesterday. Merrill got shovel. $.95 Vernon got hair cut. Got 1 card.
