A great day. Warm. I went to church with Jim N. Vern and June came after church and took me out to eat at Barrack’s Inn at Sackets Harbor. Nice. They have a new car. Dark blue. Very nice.

84° and 74°. Very warm and humid. Vi and Angie here. I did some hand washing. Blouse, white slacks and underwear. Four women ordained Priests on St. Lawrence River.

Partly cloudy. I went to exercise class. Space capsule Discovery blasted off at 10:30 AM. It lost a tile in blast off.

74. Raining about all day. Cooler in early evening. I went over to lab for blood work. Vi went with me. We walked over and back under the umbrella. Doreen called. Juanita is in Ogdensburg at her sister’s Judy. Jessie called in evening. Her mother died Monday. She won’t be here until august 2nd.

Cooler, Humidity better. Sue B called for prayer chain to say Rev. Joe Clark died of a heart attack yesterday. Rev Bea Clark’s son and Rev. Jan Wagner’s brother. I talked with Jim in AM. He may go after Shawn Michael this weekend. Zack, Jolie and kids will be at Carla’s in Ohio. Shirley cut my hair in PM. Sally here. Esther Taylor stayed in her apartment for first night. I was up to see her. Also stopped at Vi’s. Jolie and Madison called in evening on way to Ohio. Were almost there at 11 PM.

78° and 59°. A nice sunny day. Vi, Angie and Sally here. I was up to see Vi. Also Esther. Jim left for Ohio to get Shawn. Be home tomorrow. I watched the fireworks at Harborfest at Oswego on TV live. They were so great. The best I’ve ever seen. Lasted ½ hour.

A great day. Sunny. I went to church with Jim Nash. Fred Sivce (?) has to go back to Iran. Sally was here. Also Vi. I called Elgin but he was sleeping. He called me back. We had a nice visit. They are good. Carmi is lame and hard for him to get around. Jolie called about 10:30 PM. They had got to their camp. Jim and Shawn Michael had got home to Adams.

Cloudy with terrible storms in PM. Sally H took me to see Dr. Matorise. Everything same as January appointment. Said my kidneys’ are only working 25 to 30% of the time. Eight of us from Centennial went to Florence Dewitt’s funeral at Holy Family. Very nice service. I fell in lobby when I got back. Tripped over parcel on floor. I didn’t see it. Hurt my chest, left leg, wrist and I got a black eye. Barb C, Sally, Angie, Lidia are taking good care of me.

A nice day but storm predicted tonight. I’m sore from my fall. I didn’t go the exercise class. Hope called me to ask how I was. Wanda also called. Lila B brought me potato salad. Angie brought me zucchini. Sally here. Also Bertha. I called Jim.

82° and 54°. I didn’t go to First Church. Jim brought me bulletin. I went out here to church service. We had a visiting pastor from Africa speak on the twenty third Psalms. Very good. 84° and 67°. No exercise class this week. Cheryl called. Angie, Vi and Sally here. Soldiers left Fort Drum for Iraq tonight. 3200 to leave this week from Fort Drum. Space ship Discovery came back to earth in California all safe and sound this morning.

Another hot day. I had appointment with Dr. LaPoint. Cheryl took me. Everything okay bout she want me to have a colonoscopy. Jim brought Shawn Michael to stay overnight. Jim N called to say he had gone up north for the burial of Sherri. He asked me to get his dinners.

Jim is taking him home this weekend. Our Centennial picnic here at 5 PM, catered by Schuler’s. Very nice meal.

A great day. Kayaking competition weekend starts on Black River. Fireworks in evening. Nurse Debby called. Blood tests very good. To have test once a month. Procrit shot every third week. Vi here for Times. She left today for Julie’s. She will be home Sunday.

77° and 66°. Cloudy. I went to exercise class. A large turnout. I got corn and cider from farmer’s market. Vi and I shared a jug of cider. Angie here in PM. She hasn’t heard from her family in the hurricane in New Orleans. 80% under water. This is the worst hurricane to ever hit the USA. Much worse than Camille in 1969.

Rained all night and about all day. End of Katrina hurricane. Ken and Esther here in PM. Good to see them. Ken fell in yard and hurt his shoulder. He came to city for X-rays on it. Coby Slate here. 78° and 64°. Windy but a great day. Jim’s 62nd birthday. I called him. He goes to Vermont at 8 AM tomorrow morning. Vi here. Also Angie. Angie finally heard from her family in Mississippi. They are safe but hungry. The hurricane people are finally getting help after four days. President Bush upset about it taking so long. He said it was unacceptable. Gasoline up to $2.59 a gallon in city.

Sunny nice day. Sally here. Angie brought me pizza. She heard from her family in Mississippi. Her sister lost her house etc. he is in hospital. Had to have her leg off.
