    37° and 29°. Snowing off and on. Jessie here to clean. Vi and Angie here. I talked with Jim twice.

    Trees still covered with ice and snow. Beautiful. I didn’t go to church with Jim N. he came up here with my church envelopes. Number 98. I went to church out here. Three of them, Pastor Riff, Mr. Smith, and Mr. LaSalle. Eight of us. We gave them a $60 gift certificate.

    Snowed overnight and some today. I finally finished my Christmas cards. I probably won’t be able to see them next year. Vi here. Also Angie. I got Christmas card from Kate (Gelinda) Boschock. A nice surprise. Jill called in PM. We had a nice visit. She called to ask what I wanted for Christmas.

    Not a bad day. No snow. I finished my Christmas cards. Got some from Karen, Donny, Debby. Karen’s was a cute letter written by their pet dog. Vi was here. Gave me a nice purse date book for 2006. Juanita called in evening. She’s getting ready for her family on Christmas Eve.

    Warmer. Cloudy all day. I made a cake and banana bread. I talked with Jim twice. He has a cold again. Jill is at Patty’s. Jim has her dog, Ellie. Vi was here for paper. I was up to her apartment. Sally Hamilton stopped by. She has lost her building keys. Jolie and Madison called in evening. They are homesick to come back here for Christmas. Shawn Michael wants a dirt bike and some snow for Christmas.

    Christmas day. Warm and cloudy. Rain in late PM and evening. Vern, June, Jill, and Jim here for dinner. June brought most of the ham dinner. Jill brought a pie. Jim brought 2 pies and June part of a pecan pie. I made a lemon cake. We had a nice day together. Jill’s dog Ellie was here also. Joel, Jolie, Zack and Madison and Shawn Michael called in late PM.

    30° and 15°. Cold, cloudy day. No wind. Vi walked over to hospital with me. I had blood work done for Dr. Elliott and Dr. LaPoint. I had appointment with Dr. Debbie and she said my fluid was improved. I’m to take three water pills in morning and two in PM. I lost one of my new shoe ice guards on way home from hospital. Vern gave them to me for Christmas.

    20° and 14°. Cold. Snowy at times. Angie was here in PM. She found my shoe ice guard between my chair and stand. Came off in my living room. Jim called to wish me happy New Year. He’s on the way to Joanne’s. Jolie and Madison called at midnight to wish me happy New Year. Zack was setting off fireworks. I saw the New Year in by myself.
