76° and 45°. A great summer day. Vi walked over to hospital with me. I had blood work. Esther Taylor and her family came to see about her getting apartment here. Vern called in evening. They got home Tuesday from Vermont.

A warm summer day. I’ve had both fans on today. I went to exercise class. Angie here twice. Sally here tonight. I loaned Reda W my heating pad.

76° and 61°. Very warm today. Sunny. Jessie couldn’t come to clean. I washed clothes. I started milder antibiotic this morning. Vi, Sally, and Shirley M here. Julie B brought me a beef sub and cookies. Good. Dairy land Parade went by on Washington Street from the school to the Square. Lots of bands.

Another great summer day. Jessie here to clean. We went to the new big M store for first. Very nice. Vi and Angie here. Also Allison and Vi at suppertime. I got graduation invite to Tandra’s graduation. Sent her picture.

Partly cloudy but very warm. I went to church out here. Mrs. Smith gave us homemade cookies again. Good. Vi, Dorothy and I sat outside until 9 PM. Cooler out there. Jim Nash’s birthday. I gave him a card.

85° and 65°. Still hot and muggy some breeze in PM. Jolie called. Said her dad has a new girlfriend, Terri Lee, a policewoman in Syracuse. Centennial meeting. I went. Good turnout.

90° and 57°. The hottest day so far. I went to exercise class. I took Vi the paper. Jerry M moved downstairs. We are getting his cigarette smoke. Linda Beyette was here in PM. Also Lidia and Angie. Raining in evening. Thunderstorms. Lyla called in evening. She had X-rays yesterday.

85° Still hot and humid. I got stuff back in closet. I didn’t find my shorts. Angie and Vi here.

Still hot and muggy. No rain. Vi, Angie, and Sally here. Vern called in evening. They are coming to take Vi and I to Philadelphia church next Sunday. It is Jane’s last Sunday there.

79° and 69°. Raining, thunder storm at night. I went to exercise class.

76° and 67°. Cloudy in AM. Sunny in PM but cooler. Windy. I had blood work over at hospital. Vi went with me Debby called in PM. She said everything stable. I’m to have blood work once a month now and Procrit shot every three weeks. Angie here. Also Vi.

Raining in AM. Jessie here to clean. My appointment with Debbie Elliott. Vi went with me. We walked over in a hard rain. We used my umbrella I’ve had since I’ve lived here, 5 years, for the very first time. Vi was here. Also Angie. She gave me fresh strawberries. They want me to have a stress test.

Much cooler. Ethel Hanson called. She is having a family get together on Sunday, July 3rd for folks to see Audrey and her husband here from Washington State. Vi and Angie here.

72° and 54°. Partly cloudy but sunny in PM. An enjoyable Sunday. Vern and June came and picked Vi and I up and we went to church at Philadelphia. Rev. Jane Wagner’s last day of preaching there. So great to hear her again. It was so great to see everyone. 128 present at church. We ate lunch at the New Family Restaurant, the Quaker Snack Bar. It looks great. We stopped at Calcium cemetery. Plants look good. Vern and I got a few groceries at Big M.

73° and 46°. Nice fresh day. Mostly sunny. Sally and Angie here. Also Vi. Doris Haggerty called. I asked Hope about getting my kitchen sink faucet fixed.

A nice sunny day. Cheryl took me to Dr. Sanni. The place was packed. My eye pressure 12 and 14. I didn’t go to exercise class. Angie was here.

A nice day. Sue B called for prayer chain for Margaret Kiechle. Juanita called in evening. Angie here. Jim came in evening and took me to Morrison’s store and bought me a lovely new green chair. He took the lift chair to his house to store it.

72° and 41°. A cloudy day. Cooler. I washed clothes. Bill and Lee fixed my sink faucet. Works easy now. Vi here. Also Angie. Angie gave me watermelon. Allen Berl Scee, 69 is dead. He died in Mercy Care Center. I went to exercise class.

87° and 59°. Sunny. Jolie called at noon. Wants me to come for a visit. Vi, Angie, and Sally in. Cheryl and Robert called. Are coming on Monday.

A hot day. I sent my picture to Jolie’s. Tandra’s graduation and party. I went. Darcia, Kayden, and Juanita came after me. Doreen brought me home. A good time and lots to eat. I talked with Jim. He was in Syracuse helping Jill move into a townhouse.

84° and 58°. Another hot day. No breeze. I didn’t go to church. The went to Rev. Dora’s at Hyde Lake after church. Vi and Sally, Angie and Jim Nash here. Vern called in evening. Today is June’s birthday. They went out to the loop for supper.

92° and 59°. Very hot and humid. Robert and Cheryl Congdon got here about 11:30 AM. They brought Roger and Gloria Verbridge with them. It was great to see them. They all look great. We went to Club House Restaurant for lunch. Then to Sandy Hagan’s quilt store in Stateway Plaza. They brought 2 quarts of strawberries so we had shortcake before they left. Lyla called in evening. She sold her car today.

Still very hot and humid. I didn’t go to exercise class. Cheryl took me to see Dr. Onabokin. He fitted me for a pessary to hold my bowels and bladder in place. Vi and Angie here. I got nice letter, poem and picture from June. Vern is cleaning his office. I called Linda Beyette. Lots of thunder and lightning Adams Center way and south of here but only a little wind here. No rain.

Very hot and humid. I went to Dr. LaPoint’s. Everything okay. Blood test showed everything stable. Vi, Sally, and Angie here. I talked with Jim.

Hot and humid. I went to exercise class only 12 out to it. Too hot. I washed 25 tops and pats. Only one washer working. I never saw 3 out at once before. Angie was here. Someone new is moving in today upstairs. Vern and June got their two white Rag Doll boy kittens today. Their picture is so cute.

82° and 48°. A great day. Sunny all day. I didn’t get to church. Vern and June came out and took me to Sackets harbor to get together for Audrey and Everett from Washington State. A great family time together and loads of delicious good made mostly by Ethel. Vi and Angie here. Juanita gave me wicker magazine basket. Ken not good. So much like Merrill was now. It’s so upsetting to see. Esther doesn’t seem to realize what’s ahead.

July 4th. A hot day. I was in my apartment all day. Not bad in here. Jim N called. Vi and Angie here.

83° and 74°. Partly cloudy. I didn’t go to exercise class. Our VIP picnic in the park. I went with Linda. 14 of us there. A delicious lunch and a nice time.

Cooler. 78° and 66°. No rain here. Vi, Sally and Angie here. I sent VIP money to bank.

A little cooler. Terrorists blew up subway and bus in London, England. 43 killed and many injured. 3 young city girls, 12 and 13 years old, confess to setting bad fire at Black Clawson plant last weekend.

Partly cloudy. A little rain. Vi, Angie, and Sally here. Fern brought me rest check. Jolie called from work. Juanita called in evening. She leaves tomorrow with Doreen’s to Indiana.

81° and 58°. A beautiful day. Hurricane Dennis hit Florida inland. I went to church with Jim N. good to get back to it. Jolie’s 35th birthday. She called in PM. I had a nice visit with Shawn Michael. Vi and Angie here. Angie gave me banana bread and some Ritz crackers.

84° and 69°. Hot and humid. No breeze. Vi and Sally here. Jim called in evening. They tore down the Ring variety store building on the corner by Jim’s tonight. It was beyond repair and was falling down. Vi and I went out and sat on Metcalf patio in evening.

88° and 70°. A very humid and hot day. I went to exercise class. Angie here twice. Doris H sent me pictures she took at Audrey’s party at Sackets Harbor, July 3rd. they are very good. Vern called in evening. Also Jim. Jim and sixteen other bikers rode to Whiteface Mountain today. Dan, Robin and kids are camping in the Adirondacks this week. Jefferson county fair opened today for the 188th year.

Terrible thunderstorm at 3:30 AM on. Rain and hail. I went over to hospital lab for blood work. Vi went with me. Angie here. Gave me lasagna her daughter made for supper. Jim called in evening. He hasn’t any power. Been out all day. Lots of power outages.

A hot sunny day. Jessie called to say her mom had just been brought to the hospital so she couldn’t come today. I finally found my summer clothes. I’ve been looking for all summer on shelf in my clothes closet. I called Doris and Lyla.

Very hot and humid. Rain in places but none here. Vi and Allison here. Also Sally and Angie. Angie gave me green beans. Jessie here to clean. Her mother not good in hospital. Jolie and kids called. I had a long visit with Shawn Michael.

87° and 74°. Very hot and humid. I called Ethel for Audrey’s address. They got home on Sunday. Left on Tuesday. I called Lyla to give it to her. Vi, Sally and Angie here in PM. Angie brought me black caps. Jim called in evening. He has been to Boston on his bike.

83°. Still hot but cooler in evening. Exercise class cancelled because of the heat. I got a cucumber and a squash from our Farmer’s market’ here at Centennial. Vi and Angie here. Jill called in evening. We had a nice visit.
