Doreen’s 8th birthday. Got letter from Dot Talcott. Merrill took Aunt Maude & Cheryl to hospital to see Uncle Ray. He has operation tomorrow. Had tests today. Baked pies & cupcakes.

Nettie Smith M by car at city. W.S.C.S. at Minnie Dyers. Sun shining. Merrill had tooth pulled at Dr. McQueen’s at Gouverneur, $5.00. Kids called in evening. June’s grandfather was buried. They came for the funeral.
