Marge died suddenly in the bathroom at Vickies where she lived. She was 92. I didn’t go to Esther’s family dinner at Sandy Creek. We saw then at home on Thursday and had a good visit.

63°. A rain day. Warm. I went to exercise class. Susan, Andrea, Allison and Vi here trick or treating in evening. Debbie H called. They are good. I called Cheryl about tomorrow. I washed clothes in PM. Vi here for times. Angie here also.

48° and 30°. Partly sunny day. My appointment with Dr. Sanni for laser treatment on my right eye. Cheryl took me. She gave me a beautiful new billfold.

Some sun but mostly cloudy. My appointment with Dr. LaPoint. Everything okay. Blood pressure 130/82. Weight 140. Angie here in PM. She got my lunch from Charles for me. Snow predicted.

Some snow flurries mixed with rain. Colder. Flu clinic here. I had mine. Jessie’s on way to Florida. Her sister Betty Lou came to clean for me. She does a good job also. Vi was here. Also Angie. I made dentist appointment. I put things in my new wallet from Cheryl. Nice.

June is having a hysterectomy operation on Tuesday, November 28 at Oswego. Vern and June want us to go to the Ramada for Thanksgiving.

Another cloudy day. I went to exercise class. VIP meeting in PM. Ladies spoke on saving money on heating our homes. Very good. The Burnhams brought a doorprize of jug of maple syrup. I won it. Angie here.

58° and 50°. A nice day but not much sun. Warm. I went to exercise class. My eye appointment with Dr. Ludlow. Laser treatment good. I need to get new lenses. Cheryl took me. I went to hear Jubilee Band in Matcalf room. Nice time. Good turnout.

Not a bad day. Vi here for Times. Angie was here. I called Jim. Also Jill. She was at a soccer game.

49° and 44°. A few rain showers and a little sun briefly. My dentist appointment at 9:45 AM. Vi went over with me. Had a cleaning. Had a call from Philadelphia prayer chain. Kitty Hardy in Samaritan Keep for treatment. Carl Taylor and Marge Salisbury of Evans Mills died last night. Zack’s birthday. I called to wish him happy birthday. Jolie called at noon. They cut down one of their trees and it fell on the house. It did damage to some shingles. Vi was here. Also Angie.

Another rainy day. Vi here for paper. I got two birthday cards from Patty and Lyla. Juanita called in evening. We had a nice long visit. Doreen had her car totaled by a collision with a deer. She wasn’t hurt.

I didn’t go to First Church. It was a farewell dinner for Jennifer and Epic Swee before they leave for Germany. I went out here to church services. Abby and Lexie Hoffman sang and gave us cute felt turkeys they made. . Vi here. Also Angie. I watched last NASCAR race for this year. From Homestead, Florida.

Colder. Five minutes of sun. I got pictures from Jolie of Jim’s tattoo. She called in PM. Angie was here. Also Vi. I got humidifier working right. A gasket had dropped out of water tank cover. I went up to Ida Banford’s but VIP party. Steve called in evening. We had a nice visit.

A nice day. Some sun. 38°. I went for blood work in morning. Vi went with me. I’ve been getting birthday cards under my door all day. I got three in the mail. Jim here in evening. Brought me a beautiful card. Vi and Sally and Angie here during the day. A nice 89th birthday. Jill called after I got to bed to wish me happy birthday.

46° and 21°. A beautiful sunny day. First in weeks. I got birthday package from the McGowans. It’s a beautiful crystal glass angel lamp. Angie was here. Also Vi. Ruth Porter called to wish me happy birthday. She is 92 ears old. Sally H here collecting for staff’s Christmas presents. I gave $10.

Another sunny day. Great. Elgin and Carmi called in morning. The hospital gave us a free hot dinner. Here at 10:20 AM. I gave mine to Kay Taylor. She, Esther, an Vi ate together. Vern, June, Jill, and Jim and I went to the Romada Inn. Very good as usual but out of pumpkin pie. They came back here. Great day together. We talked to Joel and Jolie. Jolie wants me to come for Christmas. Esther and Kay here.

A beautiful day. Black Friday. Lots of folks got up early to go shopping to get bargains. Angie here. Marge Heck called for prayer chain. Marilyn Watson Rosbrook 71 died last night. She had cancer.

Partly sunny. 43° and 35°. Colder. Still no exercise class. Muriel still ill. June had her operation at 8 AM. All went well. Vernon called about noon. I called Jim. He’s going to Florida on his bike in a day or two. Be back the 10th or 11th. Vi here. She went to eye doctor. She may have glaucoma. Angie was here.

Another great day. Mostly sunny. Jolie called to say Jim was in Virginia on his bike. She called again at 8 PM to say he was at their house. He left Adams at 8 AM. I called several abut VIP supper. I called Cheryl abut tomorrow. Vi and Angie here. I called Vern in evening. June is doing real good.

A cloudy day. Rain in PM. Quite warm my eye appointment with Dr. Ludlow at 10:45. Cheryl took me. I have to have my right lense changed. $94.50. $25 toward eye exam also. I made popcorn in evening. June home from hospital tonight.

39° and 35°. Colder. Cloudy. Sun peeked out a few minutes. I had angina spell again this morning at 3 AM and 5 AM. Nitro helped. I’ve felt tired all day. Vi here for Times. Jolie called in evening. Jim is in Florida tonight.

I went to hospital by ambulance at 5 AM. Vi went with e. I called her at 4 AM. Vern came to hospital about 11 AM. Hope called him. Jim is in Florida. I spent night in regular room in stable condition.

I was transferred to St.Joseph’s in Syracuse by ambulance abut 3 PM. I had heart catheterization at 5 PM. They put in one stent in left artery which was 99% blocked. Another artery is blocked but they didn’t do anything to it. June and Vern at hospital.

I had terrible nose bleed in AM. I was moved to ICU. They called in others to consult with an intervention radiologist. I had blood in m stool. They did a test called embolination of colon. They didn’t find bleeding. Vern was here. I was given two units of blood.

I’m feeling better. I’m getting regular food. I sat up in a chair today. Vernon, Steven, and Jill here.

I’m still in ICU as there are no vacant beds. Vern, Steve, and Jill here.

I was discharged form St. Joseph’s about 5 PM. Vern and June there to take me to their place. Vern got my prescriptions filled at Kinney’s drugs in Oswego. I had two units of blood before I left the hospital.

Good to be out of the hospital. I’m enjoying the white cats. Bentley and Wilson. I called Vi. Dan, Robin, Lydia and Jordan came and brought supper for us all so good to see them. Jolie called.

I had a little bleeding. Vern called Syracuse doctor. Said to call Dr. Willis for appointment. Dan and Robin and kids came for supper with good again. Jolie called. Dr. Aymon Iskander (Heart Doctor)

I took a shower. Great! Made appointment with Dr. LaPoint for 1:30 Wednesday. Made appointment with Dr. Willis at 11 Tuesday. Jim called. He’s home from Florida. Rev. Sivers came to visit. He brought me a nice comfort pillow from their church. Steve called. Also Robin.

50° and 36°. A nice day. Some sun. Vern and June brought me home today, they went to my appointment with Kate at Heart Center. Vern went to eye center and got my new glass lenses put in. also got me groceries. Jim was here in PM. He has a nice Florida tan. Vi was here. Also Angie. Sally, Marian, and Cheryl also here. Sure great to be home. Answering machine full and lots of mail. I’ve been gone since December 3rd.

52° and 42°. A few showers but mostly a nice warm day. Jim came and took me to see Dr. LaPoint. I’m to stop Precrit for now. My blood count real good. 14. Vi here. Also Angie twice and Sally. Also Esther. Our Christmas dinner here put on by Schullers at 5 PM. I had mine in my room. Roast pork. Very good. Jolie called. Also Vern and Jim I got flowers from Centennial club. Very pretty.

56°. A great day. Sunny and warm. Vi here. Also Angie and Sally. Girt Stanton brought me a bag of goodies from the church. Cheryl here. She got me coke. Saddam Hussein captured three years ago today.
