Vi, Sue, and her girls here in their Halloween outfits. So cute. Made it seem like Halloween. I miss all the kids trick or treating. It isn’t allowed here.

A just great day. I made pan of brownies and two pans of cinnamon rolls for tomorrow. I talked with Jim. He was riding his bike. Jim N, Betty Ann Moore and Ruth Porter called. The Stompers here to entertain in evening. Vi and Angie here. I got a birthday card from President and Mrs. Bush today.

Sent check for Reader’s Digest gifts. Also paid electric bill. First time to National Grid instead of Niagara Mohawk.

We woke up this morning to everything covered with snow. The first snow this fall. Snowed all day to about 4 inches here in city. Lots of accidents all day. I went to exercise class. Vi here in AM. I talked with Jim. His cold still bad. He had been to see doctor again today.

Mostly cloudy all day. 47°. My 88th birthday and a busy great day. Jim called in morning to wish me happy birthday. I received some beautiful flowers from Vern and June. I’ve been getting birthday cards under my door and in the mail. Zack, Jolie and kids sent me a lovely basket of flowers from Grays. Vi and Angie here. Jim here in evening. He brought me the sweetest card. Vern called in evening to wish me happy birthday. Shawn Michael, Zack, and Jolie called in evening. Jolie and Madison called earlier.

Cloudy all day. I went to exercise class. Not many out to it. Hope stopped by. Vi and Angie here. Vi brought me two cupcakes for my birthday. Kinney’s delivered my eye drops. They were paid for as I’ve met my co pay quota. EPIC pays for my drops until net May (6 months).

Sunny all day. Cold. Vi left for Julie’s this morning. Angie was here in AM and PM. Jill called in evening. I cleaned the floors. Also did hand laundry. I got two more birthday cards. I put a “thank you” on the bulletin board in lobby. I gave myself a Procrit shot.

31° and 14°. Sunny most of day but started snowing heavy about 3 PM. South of here got it overnight. We got some during the night. Vern called from Vermont. His cell phone didn’t work where they were yesterday. They are having a great time. They will be home tomorrow. Angie was here in PM.

A dark cloudy day. A few snow flurries. I got out Christmas decorations. Put up some. Jim called. He’s leaving for Jolie and Zack’s in the morning with his truck and bike. I cooked them in electric fry pan and they tasted great. I called Margaret K. Helen K not very good. She doesn’t recognize people. Jane is with her at hospital.

Snow overnight. I didn’t go to church. I went to church out here. They had a party for us. Lots of cookies. We sang Christmas carols. Vern called in P. they had a great time in Vermont. Vi and Angie here. Esther Taylor and I ha supper with Vi.

27° and 5°. Snowy in PM. Cold. I went to aerobics class in AM. Charlie brought three extra boxed of food from Office of the Aging in case of bad snowstorm.

Very cold. No snow today. I went over to hospital for blood work. Vi went with me. Lyla called. She said Laurie Hanson’s husband is dead. Vi and Angie here. Corny Shay died upstairs last night.

28° and -2°. Not a bad day but old. Vi, Esther and I went to program and dinner at high school with Diane. All very nice. Vi and Angie here. Jolie called about 10 PM. Jim had just got to her place. Rode in rain all the way from Florida. They have a new Yorkshire puppy. Got him three days ago.

13° and -22°. Sunny day but very cold. I went to exercise class. Vern called this AM and said they would be up to take me shopping. They got here about 3 PM. We went to the mall. I got new Timex watch. They left about 5 PM. Vi here for paper.

Very cold. I addressed more cards. Girt Stanton here. Brought me a basket from church. Tonight was our Christmas party here. The dining room looked so beautiful. Schuler’s catered the dinner at 5 PM. Roast pork, delicious. Hope and staff attended this year. I talked with Jim. He’s going to a wake for a cop who was killed in Pennsylvania in the morning. He was a member of ”The Road Dogs”.

The Iraq people voted today in the election for the first time in history. Very large turnout. Helen Brown here in PM.
