Got my diamond ring today. $25.00 to have it reset. Merrill took truck to Gouverneur. Got new water pump from Mosher. Jim went to game.

Jim got tree. Put it up. Terrible stormy at city. Merrill & Jim started for city but had to turn around. Went to Gouverneur.

Started sink topping. Stormy all day.

Wallace Kettle died today. Snowy. Roads very slippery. Jim went to wrestling at school.

Did some shopping after work. Cold this morning. Got rest of cards ready to send.

Jim got out of school today for vacation. Jim & I went to Gouverneur for truck. Slippery.

Jim & Marty went to city shopping. Stormy at noon & evening.

Got out of work about 2:00 PM. Jennie gave us life insurance policy. Terrible snowy coming home.

Vern & June got home at 7:00 PM. Left Wheaton at 6:30 AM. Had our tree in evening. All got nice gifts.

We all went out home for dinner. Marg there also. Roads kind of icy. Lots of snow. Vern & June went to Rochester at 4:00 PM.

Didn’t have to work today. Did big wash. Nice day.

Very cold. 11° below zero at 6:00 PM. No riders today except Linda. Steve Delles went in Air force.

Dave & Alice Smith married at Palmyra. We didn’t go. Very cold & slippery. I went to lodge.

Baked & ironed in evening. Vern & June got here from Rochester about 11:30 PM.

Someone stole gas out of tank. Joanne G here for supper. Jim, Vern, June, Howard, Evelyn, went bowling in evening & then back here for kids wedding cake. Very nice time.

Everyone tired. We went to bed at 10:00 PM.

We went out home. Ken’s there also. Got a lot of Mom’s affairs settled. Don, Juanita, Ken, Merrill and I went to Mrs. Olive Benjamin’s wake. She shared room with Mom at hospital, 410. Paid Piddocks $1960. I went to nominating committee meeting.

A nice day. Hot sun. Today would have been mom’s birthday. It is also Father’s day. Dad has been gone 41 years and mom 24 years. (1960 and 1977). I went to church with the Nash’s. Marie Ambrose called and wanted to come after Vi and I to come out to Philadelphia church. I told her another time. I called Pauline Roggie in PM. Also Vern. Dan, Robin and kids are all moved in and enjoying their new home. Jolie called in evening.
