I went to work today. First since December 24th. Still very sore. Icy in evening. Merrill went to IOOF installation.

LeClairs have baby girl. Marty went home at 2:00. Frederick boys brought Lillian’s baby to Hales at 12:30. Snowing in evening. Tube burned out on TV.

Sent for truck & car license. I weigh 145 pounds. Going on a diet today. Merrill & I went down to Hale’s in evening. Made them cake.

Got car & truck license. Washed my hair. Fran & I went downtown at noon.

Sent Doreen card. School bus got in ditch, 7:30-10:20. Antwerp plow pulled it out. Got letter from Vernon.

Got gifts for Rosie Gleason shower. Nellie & Bessie paid me. Dr. Andrews died in evening.

Paid $6.00 to Times. Basketball teams went to Oswego. Marty stayed all night. They got home at 2:00 AM.

Stork shower for Rosie Gleason at Henderson’s. I went. Jim tired out tonight. He had test today.

Merrill & I went to Gouverneur for oil change. Jim & Marty walked to Theresa. Jim & I went to 4-H at Acheson’s. June & Vern came at 10:00 PM.

Nice day. Kids went to Mercer’s to have Vern’s car washed. Lazy day.Vern took June to Oswego.

Jim has tests. Nice today. Vern & Merrill went to Aunt Keitha’s. Boys moved furniture out of living rooms.

Rosie & Elmer Gleason have baby girl. Leah called. Vern sanded floors.

Vern went back [to Maryland] today at 8:45 AM. Got there at 9:15 PM. I got permanent at Harriet’s. Jim played ball at Carthage.

Nice day. We stopped at new P&C store on way home. Acme opened today also. Merrill got new boots at Mosher’s.
