A nice day. Jim Nash brought me the bulletin from church. Vi here for paper. Lots of swine flu in Mexico.

A very warm day. Like summer. I took Para Transit bus to Dr. LaPoint. I had blood tests and urine tests. Sally here. Also Vi and Angie. I got a lovely book. Beatrice, the Early Years, written by Debby Hanson. Great pictures.

Cloudy and cooler. I didn’t go to exercise class. Vi here. Also Sally and Angie. National Grid called about a lower bill starting in June for a year. Debby (Nurse) called. I still have kidney infection. I’m to go on antibiotics for two weeks. My blood report stable. The Swine Flu is spreading.

Not a bad day. Not much sun. Jim from Kinney’s brought me two weeks supply of antibiotics. Vi here. I talked with Jim. Jill and Jeff have been to Kalcon NM (?). I hope they didn’t get swine flu. They stopped off t Jolie’s and Zack’s for a visit on way back.

A nice day. I went to exercise class. Muriel gave us each a nice picture of our class. Angie here. I paid my rent for May. $72. Jolie called. Zack has been laid off his $158,000 a year job. I felt so sorry for them. Debby called to see if I got my book.

A cloudy day. Debby (nurse) called to say I had bad kidney infection and ask if I got my antibiotics. Sally was here. Also Angie. Jolie tried to call me but my phone isn’t working right. She called Vi. Vi and Sue here. Jolie called to say Shawn and Becky’s baby, Cayden, had died. His brother’s never got to see him alive. They were planning to go to Syracuse when they got work he had died.

Not a bad day. Granny’s Attic sale today. My big phone isn’t ringing in. Vi brought me one she had.

63° and 45°. A nice sunny day. Vi here. I went to church out here. Nice service. A little seven year old boy played the piano. A great job. Sally here in PM.

A sunny day. Vi here. Also Sally. I collected for VIP raffle. Not many folks home. I went to Centennial meeting in PM. “Peppy”, Florence André’s little dog put to sleep today he has been here since I have.

67° and 38°. Mostly sunny day. I went to exercise class. VIP today. Mike White sang for us he is still such a great country singer. A nice meeting and good turn out. Jim got me anew telephone and put memory numbers on it. I talked with Lyla in evening.

A cloudy day. A few showers. I didn’t go to exercise. Vi here. Also Angie. Kristi from Office of the Blind here for visit. Kathy here to clean. Donna Ellis here in PM. So great to see her.

A little sun but mostly rain. Some real hard. Vi here for Times. Vern and June here. They took me out to lunch for Mother’s Day. A nice day together. We went to the Cracker Barrel Restaurant. They brought me half a Bar-B-Q chicken for supper. Lyla called in evening. Sally here. I didn’t go to coffee hour. Jim called in evening and asked me to go to Bob Evan’s restaurant Sunday for Mother’s Day. Juanita called.

Cooler and cloudy. A few showers. Jim took Tracy and I to Bob Evans for lunch. We came back here and had chocolate cake that Tracy brought. Vi here for paper. Jim looked through box of snapshots. They left at 7 PM. Jolie called in AM. Jill called in PM. Joel called in evening. Today is the 40th anniversary of Jim and Patty’s marriage.

A nice day. My appointment with Dr. Matereese. I took the Para Transit bus. Vi here. Also Angie twice. I gave them some of my Mother’s Day cake from Tracy. Postage goes up two cents to forty-four cents. Coby Slate called in evening. Sally here.

A nice sunny day. I went to exercise class. Drug store Jim brought my eye drops and pills. I made reservations for our VIP picnic at the park.

Windy, cloudy, and rainy. I went to exercise class. Good turnout. Angie here brought me cornbread. Good. Sally here. Shawn Michael and a friend here after baseball practice. He is getting his hair cut. Also fitted for a rented tuxedo for the prom on Saturday night.

Sunny, nice day. Julia brought me some boiled ham. Good. Vi here for Times.

Not a bad day. Sunny. Vi here. Also Angie and Sally. The Hawaiian party is tonight. I didn’t go to it as the room was too dark. Hurt my eyes too much. They had a nice party. Good turnout.

Cold wind. Sunny day. I went to church out here. Retired soldier in charge. Very nice sermon. Jim Nash here. The men of the church put on a turkey dinner to honor the women of the church. Vi here. Also Angie. Angie brought me lilacs.

56° and 40°. Sunny day. Cool wind. Vi was here. Also Sally. Patty called in PM. Juanita called in evening. She had a not from Martha Haggerty for her birthday. She said Richard and Kathryn are both deceased.

Sunny. Cool wind. I went to exercise class. No one from Henry Keep apartments came. Angie here in PM.

78° and 43°. A warm sunny day. Vi here. I talked with Lyla. Nancy O’Connor, dietitian here. Also Barbara. Lyla called in evening. Esther called in evening. Her granddaughter returns from Africa tomorrow with a little 4 year old boy they are adopting from over there.

81°. A nice summer day. I didn’t go to exercise class. Cathy here to clean at 10 AM. Vi here. Also Angie. I didn’t go to the covered dish supper. I didn’t have anything to take. Sally here in evening. Got new phone box.

72° and 54°. A nice sunny day. I washed clothes this PM. Angie here at suppertime. Vi here. Sally here in evening. Lee oiled my windowsill so the window would slide easier. I’m to get a new window. I got a lovely picture of Juanita and her daughters from Debbie.

I went to coffee hour. A nice day. No company today. Juanita called in evening. They are coming Thursday. I got rest of blank checks.

A nice day. Sunny. Memorial Day. No Times or mail. I got some letters ready to mail tomorrow. North Korea tested another nuclear bomb under ground. Very upsetting to many countries.

69° and 33°. Not a bad day. My appointment with Dr. LaPoint. Jim took me. I had blood work for Dr. Matereese. Vi here. Also Angie. Bertha Litchie here to pay dues for VIP.

A cloudy day. Mel Busher took our picture in Metcalf room for “Buster’s Beauties”. It will be on TV with the six o’clock news. I saw Lyla in lobby today. Sally here. Lee made some copies of my bank statements for me.

56° and 48°. A cool day but some sun. Vi here. Also Jim N. sally here. She bought a new watch but couldn’t get it off. Maryanne got Angie and I a roasted chicken. $5.00, good. Vernon called in evening. They are going to a birthday party in Pennsylvania this coming weekend.

Mostly sunny. Cold wind. I went to exercise class. Muriel not there again. She hurt her knee or leg. Angie and Sally here. I finished report for my Medicare insurance payment. Pres. Obama’s nominated congressman John McHugh, Pierpont Manor, to be Secretary of the Army.

Nice sunny day. I went to coffee hour. Sally here. Also Angie. I called Jim in PM. He was in Seneca Falls on his bike for a ride. President Obama in France. He visited the cemetery today where Loren is buried in France. Loren was killed 65 years ago.

A cloudy day light showers. I didn’t get to church out here. Jim and Tracy came and we took red geraniums to Calcium cemetery. They looked so nice on lot. Merrill would like them. We went to Cracker Barrel for supper. Jim has a 2004 white Chevy Van now. Traded his Jeep. Sally here at noon. Lidia here in evening.

A sunny day. Esther called to ask if I wanted to go out to Cemetery with her and Juanita today Angie was here. Jim from Kinney’s was here with my pills.

A nice day but cool wind coming in the windows. Vi here. Also Sally and Angie. Five new cases of Asian flu confirmed in Jefferson County Indian River School District.

Not a bad day. A few rain showers. I went to exercise class. Sally here. Also Angie. I went out to entertainers in Metcalf room in evening.

A great summer day. Used the fan for the first this year. Vi here in AM. More cases of Swine flu in Alex Bay School. Schools are closed. A case at Wiley School here in the city.
