A 61 million dollar project. Gov. Patterson visited Fort Drum today to see the soldiers deploy to Iraq. Over 1000 soldiers. Lyla called in evening.

I got geology stuff and letter from Debby. I saw Esther H at the eye doctors. She drove her neighbor there from Henderson.

67° and 33°. A nice sunny day. Vern and June came about 1 PM. We went to Longways for lunch, then to Sammy’s for plants. We put five geraniums and one black eyed susan plant on Tryon and Hanson graves. Vern’s brought me Bar-B-Q chicken. Vern and June said Steve and Kathy had separated. Steve is living in Mexico. Jolie called.
