Cold all day. 18° and -1°. Sunny. I went to exercise class. All there except Virginia. We gave Dawn gift certificate to Sunny. She gave us gingersnap cookies. Very good. I mailed several Christmas cards. Still more to send. Got several today. Patty called and we had a long visit. She said she has glaucoma also. I talked with Jim and Joel. Jolie called in evening.

28° and -2°. A beautiful sunny day. Cold. I sent more Christmas cards. Coby here with tape. I played Pedro in evening. We had four tables.

45° and 21°. Warmer. A great day. No exercise class today. One of Dawn’s kids was sick. I mailed the last of my cards. Lidia left for NY City this morning. Celebration Singers here tonight. I called Jim. He is taking me to the store tomorrow.

Raining about all day. Jim came and took me to store for groceries. Hi and Joel are insulating and paneling his front bedroom. Shawn Michael’s 11th birthday. He, Jim, and Joel stopped by in the evening. Shawn Michael talked with his mother from here.

Snowy off and on. windy. I washed clothes in AM. I cleaned with cleaner. Power off and on a few times last night and today. Sherri called in evening.

41° and 35°. Snowed over night. I didn’t go to church. My arthritis hurting. It is in the Times this morning that Hank Schell 83 died yesterday. He was such a great guy. We will miss him and his music.

A snowy day off and on. Some lake affect snow and windy. They delivered a large screen TV in the library today. Beautiful. The PBS Station gave us free CD’s and video tapes. I got 2 CD’s. Cheryl and Robert Congdon called. Planned to come see me but I told them to wait for better day. It was nice there. Bill Beyette came for magnifying machine.

A beautiful sunny day. Kinney’s men here twice. The store sent the wrong pills. I got first Lipicor. Took it at suppertime. Jim and Joel here in PM. Brought me a beautiful chair. It matches my sofa which is 25 years old. Jim took his dad’s chair. Shawn Michael called. Also Jolie. I talked with Carla. Vi called.

Snowing off and on. Very snowy other places. Vern and June decided not to come. Snowing bad in Oswego and Syracuse Route 81 and Thruway closed in places. Jim, Joel, Jill and Shawn Michael here for dinner. A good day together. Nice gifts. Everyone tried to get my new chair to sit in. Every time some one got out of it, someone else would grab it. More fun. Joel and shawn Michael flew Shawn’s new airplane up in a tree. Joel climbed the tree to get it.

Vern and Jun came for dinner. An enjoyable day. Brought me nice gifts from them and from Steve and Dan’s. I got letter from Epic saying I don’t have to pay for my drugs until June. Co payment has been met.

32° and 23°. A cloudy day but no snow. I paid cable and Niagara Mohawk bills. Jessie didn’t come today. She didn’t call either. Jolie called in evening on way home from work.

34° and 28°. Snow flurries off and on but not a bad day. I went to coffee and donuts in morning. Alice Porter’s son is here for her 100th birthday. A lazy afternoon. Florence brought me a piece of pumpkin pie. Lyla called. I called Esther T.

34° and 24°. A nice day. Partly sunny. We went to church. Jim Nash in charge of service. He does a nice job. The minister is on vacation. Jessie called. She will come next Friday. I called Dawn C about exercise class.

38° and 12°. Nice day but cold. I went to party for Alice Porter’s 100th birthday put on by Centennial Club. A good turnout for it. It was on Channel 5 at 5 PM. I talked with Vi. Dorothy Dank’s sister, Mrs. Chester Lee, is dead. Florence and Muriel stopped by. Muriel had her granddaughter’s twin talking dolls in a stroller. A boy and a girl. So cute. Helen Kiechle called in evening.

49° and 35°. I went to exercise class. 7 of us there. Dawn gave us cards and cookies. Linda Beyette here in PM. I had popcorn in evening. Saw the New Year in by myself. The 6th First Night down town../
