Diary Entry for 8/17/1999

A warm day. A few showers in places. I went out to see Merrill with Bev Sampson. She took Glenn Coon to Samaritan Hospital for tests. Bev and I ate at Crystal. Merrill was in his room. He was dressed and eating his lunch. He got his hair cut in basement. $7.00. First time since he’s been there. He was in good spirits today. I called Lyla in morning. She called me when I got home. She was over here before I got home. Jolie and Shawn Michael called in evening. All well there. Good to talk with her.
