Cold. Snowed here in AM. Joan was here for supper. Ronnie Cook, Carl Allen, & Wally Davis, are in Florida. Wrote June & Vern.

Windy. Millard Thompson called & wants Merrill to put on storm windows.

Mom called. They had baptism for Don, kids, & Aunt Esther at 8:00 PM. Jim is 5 feet 11 inches and is 147 pounds. Merrill worked at Millard Thompson’s.

Merrill & I went to last football game at Philadelphia. Alexandria Bay won. Quite cold. Joan, Jim, & I, went to city. Merrill & I went over to Hall’s in evening.

Washed, ironed, waxed kitchen & bathroom floors. Jim & Joan went to church at Theresa.

Nice day. Merrill got Jim’s car going again. Basketball practice for first night.

Jim Seeley quite bad. May take him to Rochester. I went to W.S.C.S. at Carrie Fikes at Mills.

I went to “Back to School” night at school in evening. Went to lodge after. Staff presented Nettie with gavel & gifts.

They took Jim Seeley to Rochester in Philadelphia ambulance. He is very bad. quite cold. I bought mattress & chair at Kamargo sale.

Jim has sore foot. ·

Jim’s foot still sore. Got groceries. Kids went to party at Cook’s.

I was sick in bed all day. Joan was here. Did work.

I feel a little better today. Merrill & I went up to funeral parlor to see Millard Thompson. Jim’s foot worse.

I came home at 11:00. Went to Millard Thompson’s funeral. Merrill was bearer. I took Jim to Dr. Saunders. He has blood poisoning.

Jim has soaked his foot all day. Joan came after school & for supper. Kamargo brought mattress & chair.

I didn’t work today. Took Jim to Dr. Saunders for 2nd time. Jim & I went out home & also to Ken’s. Mom & girls went to Ken’s with us. Marty was here in evening. Fran called. Ordered another chair, $45.00. Got 1961 Chevrolet Impala at Seaker Graves in Gouverneur. Joan here for supper. Frances called me in evening. No work.

Rained all night & raining most of day. I took car to Gouverneur for noise. Got turkey at P&C. Joan was here for supper. I didn’t work today.

Car not right, so took it back to Gouverneur. Took Jim to Dr. Saunder’s for 3rd time. His foot much better. Merrill worked at Carrie’s. I called Aunt Maude.

Nice day. Jim went to Joan’s. Didn’t go to church.

Terrible stormy in evening. Toby Tyler brought over a 1961 Chevrolet car. Took our old one.

Drove 61 Chevy to work for first. Slippery. Mom & Doreen came on bus to city. Came home with me from work. Got tablecloth & 4 boxes candy for my birthday.

Debbie’s 2nd birthday. Mom got stuff ready for Thanksgiving.

Ken’s, Mom & Doreen were here for Thanksgiving. Cloudy day. Vernon & June called from Wheaton. They were having Dave, Alice, & baby for dinner.

Rained all night. Gave Mom a Toni wave. Jim, Joan, Merrill, & I, took Mom & Doreen home. Jim & Joan went to hospital to see Kay Rudes. Jim went to first basketball game. Jim made final visit to Dr. Saunders.

Made over my coat & made myself fur hat. Grand day. Went to Gouverneur in morning for speedometer.

We went to church. Nice day. Washed & ironed. Jim went to Joan’s in PM. Joan is sick with grippe.

Washed clothes in evening. Rose Dindle’s father died in Pennsylvania today.

Snowing. Roads slippery in evening. Van Tassel boys went in ditch on Ore Bed Road.

I went to basketball game with Jim & Joan. Joan here for supper.

I haven’t got to work tomorrow.

I didn’t work today. Merrill & I went to city. Stopped at Bennett’s. Jim & Joan went to wrestling match.

5 people killed in accident near Redwood, the Robert Kelso family. Jim went to basketball game. Philadelphia won. Made skirt.

We went to church. Rev. Dodge was guest speaker. Joan here for dinner. Kids went to show in PM, Blue Hawaii.

Raining. I moved to center isle at shop.

Got robe for Uncle Berle & Vern at Penneys. Raining. Jim went to basketball game at Lowville. W.S.C.S. Christmas party at Water’s but I didn’t go.

Made $9.80 on facings today. Nice day. Got first Christmas card from Mother Tryon.

Jim & Joan went to wrestling match. I did shopping at Seaway at noon.

Jim had basketball game at Carthage. Joan stayed here as she didn’t feel good.

I was sick all day with headache. Merrill worked at living room ceiling getting rid of bulge.

Roy’s birthday. Finished putting up Christmas decorations. Jim went to Joan’s in PM.

Past Grands Christmas party at Elsie Bacon’s. Jennie Delles had my name. My new pal is Evelyn Delles.

Jim & I went to city in evening shopping. Raining some but no snow.
