Merrill called. His father died at 5:45 AM. Talked with Aunt Maude. Mae, D.Gilson, & girlfriend are there. Merrill got home at 4:30. Juanita & Don had girl at 6 AM. Deborah Fay. 8 pounds,1 ounce.

Merrill & I went to Rodman to Aunt Lila Tiffs. I stopped to see Edna Knapp. Got my hair done. Stopped at new Seaway Shop Center.

Dad Tryon’s funeral. Buried at Rodman. Beautiful flowers. Rained all day. We had supper at Aunt Cora’s.

I worked today for first this week. Called Mother Tryon at noon at Felts Mills. Stormy. Mary O’B & I went to see Juanita.
