Vi went to hospital. Ralph Hall came home from hospital today. Went to city. Got bath scales & smoker with green stamps.

Took Aunt Maude over after Cheryl. She went with me in PM giving out slips. Visited at Marion’s. Talked with Helen. Got letter from Tryon’s.

Lulu called. Took boys to Halloween party at church. Jim won prize. Fireman dance at school house. Talked with Aunt Maude.

Nice day. Cleaned and baked. Went to Adams in PM. Merrill drawed gravel for them. Mother Tryon doesn’t look very good. Had pneumonia at B.

Nice Day. Went to church.Rosie was over. Talked with Helen & Aunt Maude. I have a cold again.

Hot lunches start at school. Wrote Mom & Vi. Vi came home from hospital. Lois & Leah were over all day helping get chicken ready. Delivered them.

Election Day supper. We had good crowd. Cleared $78.55. Got home at 7:30.

Rainy. Went over and cleaned up hall. Leah helped. Paid bills for supper.

Went to hospital to see Mrs. Hagan. Did some shopping. Leah went with us. Got letter from Mom

Washed clothes. Put on storm windows. My back started hurting. Windy & colder but quite warm in forenoon.

First snow storm of the season. I went to Theresa to see Dr. Drayer. Said I had fistula [?] Talked with Helen. Put young cattle in.

Started out home but was snowing so hard, turned around in city & came home. Talked with Helen & Aunt Maude.

Nice day. Watched parachute jumps on Pine Camp. Ben & Jack were here. No school. Did last weeks ironing.

Windy & rainy. Went out home for dinner. Talked with Helen & Aunt Maude.

Quite cold. Went over town. Went to lodge in evening. Got Xmas cards from Doris. Talked with Helen.

Merrill got Vernon winter rubbers. $5.00 & Jim boots. $2.65. Mrs. Hagan came home from hospital.

Talked with Helen. Started cleaning kitchen. Washed curtains & clothes. They took Ralph Hall to hospital again.

Finished cleaning kitchen. colder. Did ironing. Talked with Helen. Merrill stopped at Mrs. Hagans.

Boys & I went to church. Snowing & cold. Made fudge in PM.

Washed clothes. Ironed. Merrill went to Lodge. Dorothy & Dick have baby girl born at 5 AM named Linda Lue.

Xmas package came from Spiegel. Got telephone fixed. Talked with Helen & Aunt Maude. Aunt Maude was over.

Wrote Uncle Berle & Mom. Grand day. Went over to see Mrs. Hagan. Aunt Maude, Jim & I went over to Lila’s. Sold Xmas paper in PM. Talked with Helen.

Got 2 birthday cards. Got announcement from Dot & Dick. Have daughters born Nov. 17. Went to Catholic Bingo party. Merrill won eggs & dish. Sent card to Dorothy. Wrote Florence.

Took Aunt Maude papers we sold. Got several cards & letters & money from Dad’s. Made myself a birthday cake.

Windy. Merrill got me box of candy.

Went to church. Nice day but cold. Talked with Aunt Maude.

Got birthday card from Mom & Uncle Berle. Washed. Started snowing. We started for sale with calves but was so slippery almost had accident. Car bent bumper. Merrill went to Lodge.

Merrill opened checking account. Wrote Mom. Made ice cream in freezer.

Vernon get out for Thanksgiving vacation at noon. Went to city Xmas shopping in PM. Got letter from Mom. Marg called. Went to Lodge. Merrill & boys went to show.

Thanksgiving. Was so stormy we didn’t go to Uncle Earle’s. for dinner. Helen & Aunt Maude called. Wrapped Xmas presents.

Still awfully stormy. Mr. Federson was here. Got Hoover cleaner from him. Merrill got trunk bumper fixed. Wrote Mom.

Snow plow was over this morning for first time this winter. Lois called & wanted me to take W.S.C.S. President. Talked with Helen & Leah.

Stormy so we didn’t go out home. Merrill didn’t get through chores in time to go to church. Talked with Aunt Maude.

Went to Mrs. Suits to W.S.C.S. Was elected President. Ancel came in evening. Talked with Aunt Maude, Helen & Emma.

Went to open installation at Grange. Aunt Maude invited us. Raining. Ancel left. Merrill & Uncle Ray butchered pigs. Helen K. went to hospital.

Vernon was sick and couldn’t go to school. Merrill, Jim & I went out home. Gave Mom iron. Talked with Beulah & Aunt Maude. Stopped at Marg’s. Called Edith.

Vernon went to school today. Snowing. Wrote Mom. Sent order for books for church. Wrote Helen. Shampooed Merrill’s hair.

Helen got home from hospital. Talked with Mrs. Hagan & Vi. Leah & Claude had surprise anniversary party for us. 16 there. Had swell time & got nice presents. Got letters & cards from Mom, Mrs. Zimmer.

Merrill & Uncle Ray went to sawing contest at Plessis. Talked with Beulah, Lulu, Aunt Maude. Went to circle supper at church. Had change of program.

Went out home for dinner. Did shopping in Adams. Jim & I went over town & up to Helen’s. Aunt Maude called.

Talked with Leah & Helen. Decorated tree & house for Xmas. Mr. Suits & Emma F. called. Called Aunt Maude.

Washed & ironed. Merrill went to Lodge. Talked with Leah. Went to board meeting at church to plan new kitchen.

Sent Xmas cards. Wrote Uncle Berle. Juanita, Don, Sylvia & husband came. Ancel is very ill in hospital at Carthage. Went to Xmas program at school.
