Got letter from Marg. Wrote Florence, & Aunt Esther. Starting to snow again & cold. Talked with Aunt Maude, Helen & Mrs. Keichle. Vernon found Joe Harper’s billfold.

Still stormy. No mail because of holiday. Baked cake, cookies, 3 pies. Had candy corn & apples in evening and listened to radio.

Still stormy. Jim isn’t feeling good this evening. Made bread. Talked with Helen.

Terrible stormy. Jim awfully sick. Temp 104°. Talked with Dr. Penhollow. Vernon didn’t go to school because of storm.

Wrote Mom & Angie. No school because of storm. Had Dr. Dryer for Jim. Said he was very sick. Gave him sulfur. Helen, Mrs. Keichle, Mrs. Hagan, Mrs. Palms & Mr. Suits called.

Talked with Helen, Mrs. Keichle, Mrs. Hagan, Mr. Suits, Cora, Lulu, Elsie, Margaret, Edna, & Madeline. Jim is lots better. Lodge tonight. but I couldn’t go. Sent $2.50 to Journal. Order to Sears.

Still stormy. Jim lots better. Sent card to Mom. Got Montgomery Ward catalog. Talked with Helen, Mrs. Hagan & Aunt Maude.

Still stormy. Jim is up & dressed. Still weak. Washed kitchen curtains. Mr. Suits was over. Got letter from Mom. Dad called. Merrill bought new truck. Talked with Helen, Mrs. Keichle, & Aunt Maude,

Got our new truck home. I stopped at Aunt Maude’s. Jim isn’t too peppy yet.

Snowing awfully hard. Merrill went with milk but roads plugged rest of the day.

Snowing & blowing. Everything covered. No school. Washed clothes. Baked bread & cookies. Talked with Mrs. Keichle, Helen, & Aunt Maude.

Still stormy all over New York State. Nothing on radio much but storm news. Talked with Helen, Mrs. Hagan, & Aunt Maude.

Got letter from Mother Tryon. Not so stormy, no wind. Beulah’s house has burned. Talked with Helen, Mrs. Keichle & Aunt Maude & Mercer’s. Keichels got a road broke with team. Merrill skied over town.

Got milk out with team. 4 cans sour. First since Sunday. Vernon walked over town. Talked with Helen, Mrs. Keichle & Mrs. Hogan. Sent cards to Dad’s, Tryon’s & Aunt Maude.

Merrill worked all night shoveling in front of plow. Got our road open. Plugged 6 days. Talked with Helen, Mrs. Keichle. Got letter from Arlene.

Merrill worked all night again. Got letter from Elmer from Japen. Letter from Juanita. Wrote Eleanor. Jim’s ear started running. Talked to doctor.

Quiet day. Wrote letter to Mom. Called Aunt Maude, Helen, Mrs. Keichle. The town barn caught fire so Merrill didn’t have to work.

Vernon went back to school for first since storm. (Since February 28) Some schools not open yet. Washed & ironed. Merrill went to city for truck plates with Keichels. Wrote Mom.

Merrill drawed milk with new truck. Started cleaning house. Cleaned dining room. Merrill worked from 11:00 to 5:00. Mom called. Ethel is there.

Grand day. Cleaned bedrooms. Talked with Helen. Went to Lodge. Dorothy H. has baby girl.

Went out home. Lots of snow out there. Merrill changed insurance. Grand day. Talked with Helen & Aunt Maude.

Raining & cloudy. Also windy. Sent card to Marguerite Beach. Sent for bicycle parts.

Sold our car to Wesley Gleason. Awful stormy. Went over town to sign bill of sale. Talked with Helen.

Road plugged again this morning. Quite windy. They plowed road about 2:00. Talked with Helen, Aunt Maude.

Washed & ironed. Talked with Helen & Mrs. H. Got letter from Gloria.

Started cleaning living room. Got paint for ceiling. Washed curtains. Aunt Maude called.

Painted front living room ceiling. Got letter from Gloria.

Got letter from Juanita. Finished ceiling. Put up curtains. Talked with Aunt Maude & Helen. Mrs. K is ill with sore throat. Got apples from Wallace. Sadie R died.

We took calf to sale. Got paint. Went over to Vi’s in evening to circle meeting. Merrill & boys went to show. Mr. Lasher died. Wrote Juanita.

Made Merrill birthday cake. Leah & Claude were over in evening. Merrill got several cards.

Went to church. I went with Rebecca’s in body to call on Mrs. Dickson family in evening. Leah called.

Washed clothes. Went over to Beulah Halls. Merrill went to Lodge in evening. Talked with Helen. Did ironing.

Went over to city. Got cakes for Lodge. Very stormy. Our old car was in an accident.

Still stormy. No school. Milk didn’t go. Vernon went to show. I went to Lodge. Beulah, Helen, Mrs. Hagan, and Mrs. Keichle called.

Got letter from Mom. Plowed road. Talked with Aunt Maude & Helen. Awfully cold.

Vernon went over to Addie Klock’s to supper & party. We went to show. Wrote Gloria & Arlene. Talked with Helen, Aunt Maude, & Mrs. Keichle. Elsie Bacon is in hospital.

Snowing. Quite cold. Talked with Helen & Mrs. Keichle. Not feeling very good.

Awfully stormy. No roads. Talked with Helen, Mrs. Hagan. The French people arrived on the Camp farm at midnight last night.

Plowed our road. Merrill took 2 days milk. Got more coal. Cold. Talked with Helen & Aunt Maude.

Washed & ironed. Mr. Suits was here. Merrill & I are going to join the church Sunday. Talked with Helen & Mrs. Keichle.

Got letter from Mom. Grand day. Merrill helped Uncle Ray cut tree. They also drawed fertilizer.

Easter. Vernon & Jim were baptized. Merrill & I joined the church. Grand day. Water awful high. Boys & I went to Sunrise service at 7:00 AM. Went to show. Stopped at Uncle Rays.

Took Vernon out home. Was there for dinner. Merrill isn’t feeling good. Water has gone down over town. Talked with Aunt Maude & Helen.

Washed clothes. Went to W.S.C.S. at church. Had cow drop dead. Talked with Helen, Mrs. Keichle. & Lulu.

Snowing. Merrill feeling better. I went to Lodge in evening. Did ironing. Sent Vernon & Dad card. Talked with Helen & Mrs. Keichle.

Nice day. We went to dance at High School. Westward Ho played. Mrs. Keichle called. Got card from Vernon.
