Moved to Philadelphia. Marg came out with us. Glenn Backus & Dad moved us. Were here for supper. Uncle Roy & Aunt Maude were here in evening. Mrs. Hagan also.

Vernon had Halloween party at school. Dot & Evelyn was down.

Wrote Mom. Took Vernon to school Went over town. Called Aunt Maude. ironed slip covers. Vernon started in school at Phila. Got card from Aunt Mildred, & Buster & Marie.

Marg & I & Jimmy went over town when we took Vernon to school. Sent card to Mom. Went up to Lila’s in evening. Aunt Maude called.

Lights were out this morning. Switch was throwed. Went to the show. Stopped at Aunt Maude’s. Uncle Len, Betty & Abby were here for dinner.

Mom, Ken, Eleanor, Uncle Roy & Aunt Maude were here for dinner. Ken brought out hens.

Washing machine wouldn’t start. Merrill got motor at Uncle Rays.

Washed clothes. Grand day. Went over town in evening. Stopped at Aunt Maude’s & got iron. Got card from Marg.

Ironed clothes. Sent letter to Aunt Mildred & card to Marg. Went to show in evening. Stopped at Aunt Maude’s.

Helen K & boys were here. Mr. & Mrs. Hagan were here in evening. Wrote letter to Mom.

Mr. & Mrs. Hagan were here. Brought me over an iron. Got card from Aunt Mildred.

Wrote letter to Marg. Went over town in evening. Got iron cord. 75 ¢.

Uncle Berle & Aunt Mildred came. Lila & Jimmy were here. Also Aunt Maude.

Uncle Berle & Aunt Maude went home in PM. No mail.

Washed clothes. Rained. Merrill put up mailbox. Sent cards to Mom & Marg.

Got letter from Mom. Sent cards to Marg & Mom.

Got letters from Dot & Marg. Uncle Ray’s went to Ramsey funeral. Sent letters to Mom & Dr. Reed.

Mr. & Mrs. Hagan were here. Took Ben Kiechle, to Watertown but brought him back again. [Ben Keichle is a neighbor & Vernon’s friend. His parents are Perrin & Annie Keichle.]

Got birthday card & letter & $1.00 from Marg. Got card & letter from Aunt Mildred. Wrote to Angie.

Went out home for dinner. Mom gave me money for lamp shade, pitcher & Dad gave me towel.

Washed clothes. Wrote letters to Ruth & Ethel.

Ironed clothes. Got letter from Gerow. [insurance man] Wrote Marg.

My birthday. Ben Hicky left on new job today. Several men here to see him. Sent for curtains to Sears. Got cards from Dot & Eleanor.

Thanksgiving. Went to Aunt Mildred’s. She made me birthday cake. Mom & Dad were there. Gave us pork. Raining.

Snowing quite hard. Went over town in PM. Waxed rugs.

Still snowing. Snow plow was over for first time. Started burning coal in furnace. Talked with Aunt Maude.

Went to church for first time out here. Stopped at Aunt Maude’s. Merrill went to Theresa with Uncle Ray. Made ice cream.

Wrote to Marg & Mom. Washed clothes. Got letter from Mother Tryon. Helen Keichle called on phone. Grand day.

Went to Adams. Stopped at Aunt Mildred’s. A lot of snow out that way. Got letter from Marg.

Went over to Helen’s in PM. Went over town. Mr. Gerow was here. Talked with Aunt Maude. Got kitchen curtains.

Aunt Maude, Vernon & I went to city on train. Got my eyes examined. Vernon didn’t have to have glasses. Got letter from Angie.

Sent order to Spiegel. Merrill went to Antwerp. Got new rug for living room. Mrs. Suits [Minister’s wife] called & invited us to church supper.

Went to show in evening. Was about fighting where Loren was killed. Talked with Aunt Maude.

Sent order to Sears for motor. Was invited to church supper but I was sick & couldn’t go.

Went out home. Lila & Jim went with us. Uncle Ray & Aunt Maude went also. Got potatoes & Xmas tree.

Washed clothes. Talked with Aunt Maude. Got Xmas tree in & decorated it . Got first money today. $116.14. Colder & snowy.

Mr. Suits called in AM. Merrill got starter fixed. Talked with Aunt Maude. Awful cold. Wrote to Marg.

Went to city. Aunt Maude & Lyla went with us. Still very cold. 14 below last night. Got my new glasses.

Sent letter to Evelyn & Mom. Still quite cold. Vernon & Jimmy got Xmas package from Uncle Berle’s

Talked with Aunt Maude twice. Wrote Aunt Mildred. Cleaned bathroom. Made pumpkin pies.
