Tornadoes bad in Iowa. 4000 homes have been vacated in Cedar Rapids tonight where Joel and Camille live. 125,000 people live there. The Cedar River to crest tonight.

I’ve been sick all day. I called Jim. He came and took me to Jeff Smith’s emergency place. They said I had a bladder infection. They put me on antibiotics. Vi, Sally, and Angie here. Tracy was with Jim. She visited one of her soldiers and her new baby at the hospital. Elgin called. Carmi not good. Jolie called.

She wanted to call them. Dr. LaPoint stopped my Plavix pills. I’m still on aspirin and Divan. I got a nice letter from June and Vern.

Some showers in AM. Dr. Willis’ office called and said for me to discontinue taking Plavix and furosemide until I have gained two pounds. I called Vern and June to tell them I’d been sick. Vern was shampooing carpets. Lyla called. She and Cheryl are going to Vicky’s July 17. Back Monday the 21st. Jim called in evening.
