Got birthday card & letter & $1.00 from Marg. Got card & letter from Aunt Mildred. Wrote to Angie.

Went out home for dinner. Mom gave me money for lamp shade, pitcher & Dad gave me towel.

Washed clothes. Wrote letters to Ruth & Ethel.

Ironed clothes. Got letter from Gerow. [insurance man] Wrote Marg.

My birthday. Ben Hicky left on new job today. Several men here to see him. Sent for curtains to Sears. Got cards from Dot & Eleanor.

Thanksgiving. Went to Aunt Mildred’s. She made me birthday cake. Mom & Dad were there. Gave us pork. Raining.

Snowing quite hard. Went over town in PM. Waxed rugs.

Still snowing. Snow plow was over for first time. Started burning coal in furnace. Talked with Aunt Maude.

Went to church for first time out here. Stopped at Aunt Maude’s. Merrill went to Theresa with Uncle Ray. Made ice cream.

Wrote to Marg & Mom. Washed clothes. Got letter from Mother Tryon. Helen Keichle called on phone. Grand day.

Went to Adams. Stopped at Aunt Mildred’s. A lot of snow out that way. Got letter from Marg.

Went over to Helen’s in PM. Went over town. Mr. Gerow was here. Talked with Aunt Maude. Got kitchen curtains.

Storming hard. Merrill went over town. Aunt Maude Called.

Aunt Maude, Vernon & I went to city on train. Got my eyes examined. Vernon didn’t have to have glasses. Got letter from Angie.

Sent cards to Mom & Mother Tryon. Helen called. Got letters from Mom & Dad.

Went to church. Grand day. Aunt Maude Called. Uncle Ray & Aunt Maude were over in evening. Earle Mercer was here. Also Mr. Hagan.

Washed. Got telephone bill. $5.16. First one. Went to Watertown in PM. Left Jimmy at Aunt Maude’s. Got card from anniversary. Sent letter to Dot & Mom.

Sent order to Spiegel. Merrill went to Antwerp. Got new rug for living room. Mrs. Suits [Minister’s wife] called & invited us to church supper.

Went to show in evening. Was about fighting where Loren was killed. Talked with Aunt Maude.

Wrote letter to Mom. Called Helen. Also Aunt Maude. Merrill went over town & paid telephone bill.

Sent order to Sears for motor. Was invited to church supper but I was sick & couldn’t go.

Got letter from Dot. Aunt Maude gave us pork. Mrs. Hagan & Mr. Hagan were here.

Went out home. Lila & Jim went with us. Uncle Ray & Aunt Maude went also. Got potatoes & Xmas tree.

Washed clothes. Talked with Aunt Maude. Got Xmas tree in & decorated it . Got first money today. $116.14. Colder & snowy.

Mr. Suits called in AM. Merrill got starter fixed. Talked with Aunt Maude. Awful cold. Wrote to Marg.

Went to city. Aunt Maude & Lyla went with us. Still very cold. 14 below last night. Got my new glasses.

Sent letter to Evelyn & Mom. Still quite cold. Vernon & Jimmy got Xmas package from Uncle Berle’s

Talked with Aunt Maude twice. Wrote Aunt Mildred. Cleaned bathroom. Made pumpkin pies.

Snowing & cold. Merrill went over town & got groceries. Got chicken ready to roast.

Snowing hard. Roads plugged. Aunt Maude, Helen & Mrs. Kiechle called.

Mrs. Hagan called. Opened our roads about noon. Merrill took milk. Got package. Several Xmas cards. Washed. Sent Xmas cards.

Got several cards. Letters from Aunt Mildred & Ruth. Grand day. Wrote letter to Dot. Shampooed my hair.

Vernon got hair cut. Sent card & letter to Dot. Quite cold. Talked with Aunt Maude & Helen. Got Xmas card from Mr. & Mrs. Suits. My new iron is at Drakes. [A store in Philadelphia]

Went over to V ernon’s Xmas party at school. We went up to Helen’s & Carl’s in evening. Merrill got hair cut. Started parting it on side. Wrote Mother Tryon, Edith & card to Betty. Also Mom.

Went to city & finished Xmas shopping. Got washing machine motor. Mr. Hagan was here.

Have a sore throat. Called Helen. Also Aunt Maude. Got cards, & letters from Mom, Marg. Got new iron $8.75.

Quite sick. Temp 103° Talked with Aunt Maude. Merrill did work . Helen called.

Dad called. Mom is having Xmas. Mr. Suits called. Had our tree in evening.

Helen, Aunt Maude & Mrs. Kiechle called. Went out home but only got as far as Marg’s. Had dinner at Uncle Roy’s. Lights were out 3 hours.

Dad called to see how we got home. Ben was over to see Vernon. Quite windy.

Not feeling very good. Wrote Mom & Marg. Got letter from Evelyn.

Went over town. Sent card to Evelyn. Vernon went over to Ben’s.

Got letter from Mother Tryon. Got trailer $35.00. Watkins man was here. Got 2nd telephone bill.
