Partly cloudy day. Box cars from Fort Drum rolled into a propane gas tanker and caused a fire that burned it’s self out without exploding. Folks were evacuated. Vi here. Also Angie.

He plans to visit Joel and Carmille before he comes home. He’s going to a Road Dowg rally. Sturgis SD’s 67th year motorbike rally.

Cloudy in AM. I called drug store for medicines. Marion here for coke cans for Larry and Cheryl. Jim called to say he was leaving for Joel’s in the morning on his motorcycle. He isn’t going to the doings at Sturgis, SD.

A just beautiful day. Cooler with fresh air. Great. Vi and I walked over to hospital lab for my blood work in morning. We didn’t go to exercise class. Debby, nurse, called in PM to say my blood count was good. To continue Procrit weekly. Angie gave me more sweet corn. Very good. Vi here for Paper. Jolie called in PM at midnight. Jim was in Indiana on his way to Joel’s. He had run out of gas on the road and had to call the state police. He was exhausted so was getting a room for the night.

80° and 59°. Warm and humid again. Vi here for paper. New tenant moving in down stairs today. Jolie called. It was 105° in North Carolina. Jim spent the night in Indianapolis.

73° and 44°. A great day. Cooler. I didn’t go to exercise class as I forgot it. Vi, Sally and Angie here. I called Para Transit to see if I was still eligible to use it. I am. I made appointment to go to eye center tomorrow. Vi is going with me. I made popcorn in evening.

A nice day. Windy. Sally here. Also Angie. Vi came for Times. My eye appointment with Dr. Jivanjee at 1:15 PM. My first time seeing him, a glaucoma specialist. He says my glaucoma is in the final stages. My eye pressures were 12 in both eyes. Good. I am to see Dr. Jivanjee again in three months. I used Part Transit city bus today for first time in a long time. Vi went with me. $2 each way. Vi rode free as my friend.

A great day but windy. I went to exercise class. Anne Antinelli is moving into apartment across from mine. Our Centennial picnic was tonight in the Metcalf room. Good turnout and a great meal. Bert Coughlin put a lot of work on it. I called Jim. He got home day before yesterday. Had a good trip home with out stopping to spend the night. Cathy here to clean.

77° and 44°. Another beautiful day. Vi here for Times. I gave myself Procrit shot. Fort Drum is on e hundred years old today. It started out as Camp Hughes, then as Pine Camp, then Camp Drum and then Fort Drum.

A lovely summer day. Vern called in morning. He and June got here about noon. We went to Denny’s for lunch. We went to Sears for cleaner parts but they didn’t have them. We had a nice day together.. They want to have a party for me on my 90th birthday in November.

A great sunny day. I didn’t go to church with Jim N. he left early. I went to church out here in PM. Nice service. Jim here in PM. Today is his 64th birthday. He brought me two portable phones. Sue Boschock called. She and Bob are taking me out to brunch tomorrow to Tin Pan Gally, in Sackets Harbor.

Cloudy in the morning but a great day later on. Sue and Bob Boschock came at 8:30 AM and took me out to Tin Pan Gally for brunch. A great outdoor dining room. We drove around Sackets and the new shopping center on Arsenal Street. So good to see Sue and Bob. A lovely morning together. They left here at 1:30. I watched Jerry Lewis Telethon on TV. $189.000 given in North Country.

Nice, mostly sunny day. I went to exercise class. Our VIP club meeting here in PM. Three girls from Lincare here to give presentation. They also brought snacks for us. Coffee, homemade cookies and fruit.
