Cloudy day but like spring. 54° and 36°. Vi Mowers here to spend day. Susie dropped her off and came after her. We walked over to hospital to see Mary Chamberlain. Vern called. They are taking Ken, Esther and me out to eat Friday. I called Betty to come Thursday to clean. I played Pedro in evening. Only 2 tables. I stopped in to tell Cora about Mary. I started 4th eye drop. Pilocarpine 1% 3 times a day. This is what I started using in 1970.

Raining. Cloudy day. Betty here to clean. Coby here with church tapes. I talked with Vi. I called June to tell them I could leave anytime tomorrow. Rev Salisbury 91 here died at 4:40 tonight.

Cloudy. A few light snow flurries. No sun. Vern and June came after me at 10 AM. We went to Sandy Creek and picked Ken and Esther up at 11. We went to Shars restaurant on Redfield Road. We had a delicious lunch. We went back to Ken’s and Roberta came to see us there. Vern and June brought me home. I stopped at Big M for groceries. Vern and June have a different car. 1999 Cadillac. Gray color. Nice. Jim called in evening. Joel didn’t get my Christmas check.

A nice day. We went to church and Sunday school. We stayed with Sherri to a UMW meeting. We had cake and punch for Shelly who is having a baby. Jennifer Swee joined the church. Sherri and Jim stood up with her and then took her out to lunch. They asked me to go also. We went to Schuler’s restaurant. Vi was here before I got home. Jolie called in evening. I talked with Shawn Michael.

56° today. Like spring. A lazy day. I wrote Debby and answered her questions. Talked with Lyla. She had been to Mary Ashley’s wake. A memorial for Rev. Salisbury at 2 PM in Metcafe room. I didn’t go to it.

Another warm day partly sunny. I went to exercise class. Eight there. Rev. Jane called for prayer chain for Shirley Scrimminger for heart tests. I called Eleanor H. Sherri Nash called abut ham supper. I told her I would be on the prayer chain at First UMC. Returned Epic questionnaire.

Sunny but cold. I went to exercise class. Jim goes to Syracuse to see doctor about his back tests. Coby Slate here with tapes. A soldier rescued from the caves of Watertown when a boulder fell on him. He was in there for over 12 hours. Jolie called in evening. I sent order for vitamins.

Partly sunny. Some snow. Cold. Lidia got home from Florida today. The soldier hurt in cave in serious condition this morning. Jim called. He doesn’t need disc operation. Needs some repair work to clean out around it fro damage and arthritis. He isn’t going to have it until September unless it gets worse. Virginia Pastor called and asked if I would let Baptist in Sunday. I sent Kristen’s Pen Pal letter.

A nice day. In the 50’s. windy all day and evening. Terrible fire at Carthage. One whole block destroyed. Businesses lost and many people homeless. I got a ham dinner from the church. I’m fighting that bug going around I feel punk.

I opened the door for them for Virginia Pastor. Ten buildings were lost in Carthage fire. 150 left without a place to live. (40 apartments) Jim called in evening. Jill got to Jolie’s at 8 PM, 11 our time.

Mostly cloudy. Some sun. lots of snow Buffalo way. I got package from Blair’s of pants and tops. Vi called. Mary Chamberlain is being move to Samaritan Keep Nursing home. Mary Sepko from Evans Mills and Rena Putnam of Redwood dead. All are Rebekah’s. Centennial Club meeting. Not as many out. I went.

Very snowy off and on. Lake affect snow. I went to exercise class. Juanita called in evening. Her ear is giving her a lot of pain.

Great weather. Like summer. 67° and 32°. Thunder storm, wind, and rain in evening. Robert Cheryl and Brianne here at 11 AM. They took me out to lunch at Bob Evans restaurant. We drove to Rodman Cemetery and then to Calcium cemetery. They left for home about 6 PM. A nice day together. Jill flies home from Jolie’s today. Jim called in PM.

Very windy. Lake affect snow by spells. A very high wind all day. A terrible day. Cleared some in evening. We didn’t go to church. Two pile up accidents on 81 near Talcott Falls. Lots more storm related accidents. Jolie and kids flew to Ohio from Seattle. She called about 8:30 PM. I talked with Jim twice. Juanita called in evening.

A few rain showers. 43° and 30°. I went to exercise class. I talked with Lyla. I made macaroni salad in evening. It is in today’s Times that Edwin Nichols, 78 died. He is Esther’s brother-in-law. Alice is Esther’s twin sister.

Sunny day. Jim took me for groceries. I went to exercise class. One more week for this group. Corn beef and cabbage dinner catered by Schuler’s restaurant 5 PM. Very good and good turn out. 72 there. Vern called in PM. They are coming up after me Sunday.

Cold wind but not a bad day. Wayne Davis, 41 was killed last tight after getting caught by the corn elevator at Roes Feeds on Sand Street. Same machine that Joe LaLonde lost his leg and almost his life a few years back. I called Lyla, Jim, and Vi.

I didn’t go to church. Vern and June came after me. We went to Ponderosa at Pulaski. Over 35-40 there for 3 PM lunch party for Roberta’s 50th birthday today. Esther gave us St. Patrick’s hats. I came home with Jim. Vern brought me new 50 start flag for my door.

Windy. Rainy. Snow flurries. Bill Beyette brought me another magnifying machine for 2 months. Dr. Sanni 3 PM. I had Xrays. And field tests. He says I need to have glaucoma operation He will do left eye first. Then the other one six weeks later. I rode the bus to eye center.

A nice day. Partly cloudy. I rode the Para Transit bus both ways to doctors. Dr. LaPoint 9:45. BP 120/80. She started me on one a week of Actonel. Take one with full glass of water.

Windy. Some flurries. Rain about all day. I made vegetable soup. Terrible accident on Fort Drum near Antwerp at 7 AM. One soldier dead and fourteen injured. One seriously.

Colder, cloudy, raining hard in PM. I went to exercise class. New class starts next week. $26 due for 10 weeks. Then out for summer. I called Vern and June. Vern at choir practice. Lydia and Jordon with June. Dan and Robin at movies. Second soldier does of injuries received yesterday. Six still in hospital. I renewed Times for 6 months.

She’s still looking for a place. Very stormy in Pulaski and Syracuse way. South lane of 81 closed. A 75 car pile up in lake effect snow.

Everything covered with snow. I went for coffee and donuts. Hope J and her husband were in that huge car pile up yesterday on 81 at Pulaski. They weren’t hurt but their car was damaged so bad they had to rent one for their trip to Florida.

31° and 22°. Sunny and nice. Cool wind. We went to church. Lovely Palm Sunday service. Communion. Vi called. Jim here in PM. We talked with Jolie. He called Joel from here but he wasn’t home. He called Jill and she was on her way to her soccer game. Jim brought me a cute little iron elephant from Jolie.

Sunny in AM. Cloudy in PM. Dr. Sanni’s office called to say my operation is May 8th. Robin called in evening and said they would all lie to come her for Easter again. I called Jim. He was on his way home from Albany with a load of iron for Jerry Golden (cop)

Snowy, raining, freezing. I went to exercise class. Nine there plus Dawn. Ada, Jane N and Eleanor Dewan joined new class. I pain $26 until class is out in June. Ada Jane Northrup joined also. Juanita’s birthday. Debby called in evening. We talked until midnight.

Cloudy day. A little warmer. I washed clothes. I didn’t go out to play cards. Vern called in evening. Also Juanita. Cindy and Ethan had taken her out to eat for her birthday.

Sunny. Warmer. I went to exercise class. We had 10 embers plus Dawn. Coby brought me tape on Palm Sunday service. I listened to it in evening. Jolie called in evening. I talked with Carla and Shawn Michael. I talked with Jim. He will take me for groceries tomorrow.

Warm. Cloudy. 56° and 29°. I cleaned floors and started getting things out for Sunday. I called Sherri. Jim took me to store in evening. He got his truck home today form the deer damage.

A beautiful day. We went to church. Jim, Jill, Vern, June, Dan, Robin, Lydia, Jordan, Steve, Kathy, Kristen, and Sarah came for dinner. They brought the food with them. Delicious. Jim bought the Cadbury eggs this year. June gave us all Easter candy. Steve gave me the plant they had at church in Merrill’s memory. Jolie called twice from Ohio. We didn’t hear from Joel.

Raining. I got house back in order and things put away. Sherri N called. Also Jessie. Lindy Beyette here to check out machine.

Rainy. Col. I went to exercise class. VIP meeting in PM. Five of us there. Mike White couldn’t come as he is sick.

Cloudy day. I went to meeting at church on the Prayer chain group with Jim and Sherri. We went to Bob Evans for lunch after meeting. I played Pedro in evening. Only two tables.

Cloudy day. Snow flurries over night. I went to exercise class. Nine of us there. Jim and Ashley here abut 4:30 PM. He had picked her up from school. She said her mother is getting married and they are moving to Syracuse.

Not a bad day. Colder in evening. I went for coffee and donuts. Eleanor Dewan fell last night and is in hospital in intensive care. She hit her head.

43° and 13°. Partly cloudy. I rode to church and Sunday school with Ray and Cora Ballinger. Nash’s were at Stone Mills today. I went to Baptist service here in PM.

Cloudy day. A little sun. Warm. I took Para Transit bus to eye center. Appointment with Dr. Sanni at eye center 10 AM just to do paper work. I was there ½ hour. I moved here at Centennial two years ago today. Today would have been mother and dad Tryon’s wedding anniversary. Also Marie Tryon Van Epps birthday. I ironed table clothes and napkins

Raining and windy. 62° and 43°. My window is leaking again. Bill checked it. I went to exercise class. No more until the 23rd. Dawn on vacation. Hope got back from vacation today. Jim called in evening. He said Shawn Michael is back with his dad. Shawn went to Ohio for him Saturday.

Cloudy in AM. Sunny in PM 46°. Florence D took me to the Washington Plaza for drugs and groceries. Then we went to Ames on State Street. I got new Timex Watch. $20.98. Black strap. We ate lunch at McDonalds. Barb here for supper money $5.I played Pedro in evening. Jolie called in evening. She’s working full time.
