George Waters funeral. Very snowy day. All schools closed. A foot of snow fell. Merrill cleaned driveway. He went for groceries. Got 22 pound turkey at 27¢ a pound. I baked pie crust, cake, and cupcakes. Jolie and Jim called.

MM. Vivian was over. A nice sunny day. Sent $10.00 to ambulance fund in memory of George Waters. Sent Sheriff Department $10.00 for show fund. Washed dark clothes.

Washed clothes. Made 2 dozen cinnamon rolls. Cooked quash. Merrill cleaned floors. Got birthday card and letter from Beulah.

We went to church, 47. Thanksgiving supper and service at Mills in evening.

We went to city for Merrill’s glasses, $224. Shopped at Kinney’s. Cloudy day but nice. I got birthday cards from Lyla and Bea. Jolie called.

My 78th birthday. Merrill gave me nice birthday card. Merrill went to store. Jim called to wish me happy birthday. Joe took snow blower to Gambles in Carthage.

Got turkey ready to roast. Made salad. Merrill cleaned house.

Elgin and Carmi called. Jim, Joel, Jill, Jolie, Shawn Michael, and 3 shoulders, Jim Rufus and Paul here for 3:30 dinner after Jim got off work. Jolie brought me birthday cake and the boys washed the dishes. Snowed some. Windy.
