Very stormy about all day. Jim went to Theresa. Worked on income tax.

Ida Mae & I went to blood bank. I gave 13th pint. Very snowy in evening.

Still cold. Jim got hair cut. Carl Allen, Ronnie Cooke, & Wally Davis Jr. took off.

22° below zero when I went to work. JoAnne Sheldon, Linda Allen, & Curt Van Tassel fined $10.00 each for stealing Art Hall’s gas.

Jim had basketball game with city, lost. Allen, Cooke, & Davis are in jail in South Carolina.

Men left for South Carolina for kids. Very stormy all over. Worst storm of season.

Grand day. Hollis Trumble (Kenneth’s boy)18 years, shot himself tonight in his bedroom.

Jim took load of boys swimming to YMCA. Kenny Rudes came home with him. Merrill got hay from Art Hall. Started Jim’s room.

Worked all day. Jim went over to Marty’s. Kay is in hospital.

Nice but cold. Got Jim 2 long playing records @ 66¢. Heard today Margaret Haggerty went to Florida with Phillip LeClair & Clark boys.

Mother Tryon’s 72nd birthday. Sent her letter & card. Got Jim’s radio batteries. 4 for $2.00.

Merrill had 5 teeth out. Has to have the rest of the lower ones out. Rainy & freezing.
