Still stormy. Sent some Christmas cards. Went to Loblaws at noon. June Ensling’s father’s funeral.

Roads very slippery.

Very stormy & icy. Lots of cars in ditch. Mary Hagan rode home with us.

Jim & I went up to school & to Gouverneur shopping. Was 25 below last night.

We all went to church. Very icy yet. Cold. Did up packages.

Josephine Carnival had us to supper & party. Annie, Nellie, Bessie, Dot, & I. I went down town at noon.

Warmer & raining. We got groceries at Loblaws at night. Merrill & boys went to Gouverneur. Jim got out at noon.

Worked all day. Jenny didn’t give any bonus to anyone this year. Girls & I went to Morgio’s for lunch. 9 of us. Merrill & boys went to city. Had our tree in evening. We all got swell gifts.

We went out home. Dad’s & Don’s there. Uncle Lloyd’s & Beulah came in PM. Don’s & us gave Dad & Mom GE radio. Grand day. Lots of snow but roads dry.

Cold still. I worked today. Jim went over to Marty’s in PM.

Marty came over to stay all night. Warmer. Merrill started putting on storm windows.

Lots warmer today. Grand day. Marty went home & Jim went with him.

Merrill went to Gouverneur for lime. Put on 2 more storm windows on bedroom. Vern got 4 teeth filled at Theresa. $16.00.

Cold again. Jim & Marty went to city to show. Vernon took them. Baked in evening. Made fudge. Howard & Evelyn have baby boy. Hal Mark born at 1:45. 7 pounds, 5 ounces.

Had New Years Eve party. Simonds, Mowers, & Wards. June came on 10:00 PM bus for rest of week.
