Sent orders to Wards, Spiegels, & Sears. Card to Marg. Awful cold last night. 30° below. Vernon didn’t get to school. Got letter from Marg. Below zero all day.

Arlene was down in PM. Vernon went to school half day. Marie called up in evening. Elmer gets home on leave tomorrow.

Mailed Valentines. Sent $2.50 for Journal & Country Gentleman. Got letter from Florence, Beulah & Valentine from Mary S.

Vernon’s Valentine party at school. Ironed clothes. Cut Jimmy’s hair.

Sent letters to Francis, Angie, & Grandma. Jimmy was sick in the night. I’m sick tonight. Had 2 flashes of lightning & thunder in evening. Real sharp.

Don takes physical at Syracuse. Icy & rainy. Vernon was ill & didn’t go to school. Buster was unable to get home last night. Marie L. & Dot were down.
