Terrible college shooting in Virginia Tech College. 33 killed plus shooter. Jolie called twice. Jim got to her house at 5 AM Friday. He’s gone to visit friends over night. He knows them from Myrtle Beach.

Cloudy all day. Vi and Angie here. Patty called. She’s taking me to see Dr. Barnes Thursday. I watched the Memorial Rally at Virginia Tech University for murdered students and teachers.

Another summer day. I’ve had my windows open all day long. Great air. Vi here. I called Jim. He was out riding his bike. Juanita called. Esther was at her house. She’s staying in a camper at her daughter’s campground. Ken has been in Florida nursing hoe all by himself. She has been home two weeks.

Jim and a man from Mass fly to Seattle Washington today. They plan to start a Road Dawg group there. Will be home Thursday. Jolie called in evening. She had talked with Jim in Washington State. A nice day. My appointment with Dr. LaPoint. 8:15 AM. Cheryl took me. We had fire scare. Evelyn Weeks burned food and set off alarms. Fire company came. No fire. All the doors in the building shut automatically. Alarms were ringing all through the three floors. Jolie called. Jim to get home about 11 PM.

A nice day. Jessie here to clean. Her sister Betty ill in Florida with cancer. Jim called. He got home last night about 11 PM from Seattle Washington. He said it was cold there. Had a good trip. Vi here. Also Angie.

68° and 54°. A nice day but cooler. Gray’s florist brought me a real pretty flower arrangement in a basket from Jim. Jill brought me a green mug with chocolate candy and pretzels. She said Jim is in the Washington DC area for Memorial service. Will go on to Myrtle Beach.

Lidia had two skin cancers removed yesterday. Vi here. Also Esther. They saw Cheryl and she asked them to tell me that Larry Ashley fell and broke his shoulder. He’s over in the SMC here.
