I called Robert Congdon, Bertha A stopped by. Brought me a piece of pumpkin pie. I got Christmas card and picture of Stephanie Cha Ratcliff, her husband Joe and sons. Chance 3, and Cole 1.

A green Christmas. No snow in sight in the north Country. Joel, Shawn Michael, Madison and Jim called in morning from North Carolina. Vern and June got here at 11 AM. They brought a delicious ham dinner. Sally and Angie stopped by to say Merry Christmas. Vern’s left early to go to a birthday get together for Lydia’s 9th birthday today. Jim called Irvan Willis in evening to see how Ken is doing. He’s about the same. Esther spent the day at the nursing home with him.

She loved them and was going to take them home to show her husband. Shawn Michael called about 9:45 PM. He an Jim are back home. Joel and Camille got back to Iowa about the same time they flew. Jim drove all day. Shawn Michael is staying until after New Years.

Finally some snow in the ground. Cold. Jim and Shawn Michael here and got my DVD from Jolie and Zack set up for me. Very nice. She gave me six movies plus family tapes. Esther called. Ken had a good day today. Up and walking around. Vi, Angie, and Sally here. Former President Gerald Ford 93 dead. Birthday party in Metcalf room for Helen Sprague but I didn’t go to it.
