We went to church, 70 out. Eleanor Henderson gave us picture of us she took at Bill and Vi’s party. Nice day but cold and windy.

Dr. Siegel, 2:15. I’m to continue Plaquenil, $34.58. Next appointment in 4 months. Nice day, warm. United States bombed Libya. 1 US Plane lost, and 2 men.

Merrill put new burner on kitchen stove. He fixed water pipe at CEC. I washed clothes.

We went for groceries. Got 2 hand towels with store coupons. Sent for Blue Cross refunds and light bill. Paid telephone bill.

We started cleaning in living room. Good day to dry curtains. Finished living room.

Put plants on porch. Cleaned dining room and our bedroom. I hurt today. Nice day, in the 60’s.

A just beautiful day. Like summer. In the 70’s. Washed clothes and hung them outside in sun most of day.

Cloudy and rainy in PM. We went to church, 44 out. Jim’s, and Shannon Doney here for supper.

Cooler and windy. I’m feeling very sore today. So active yesterday.

We cleaned kitchen and bathroom. Sunny all day but cold.

Merrill helped Gary build stairway on his garage. Got letter from June and Vern. They are fine. Laura Delles and Steve Woodruff married in evening at Vic and Barbara’s.

Washed clothes. Merrill went to dump. Took off storm windows and put on screens. Beautiful day.

Fast time begins. We went to church, 46 out. Fireman burned piles of rubbish on corner. George Belile went to hospital by ambulance. His back. Sim Austin, 70 died.

Wrote Vern’s. Merrill went to Lanphere’s for lumber for front steps, $35.27. Started working on them. A beautiful day. In the 80’s today. Washed Merrill’s clothes. Carl Scee called.

School vote today. We voted in PM. Didn’t pass again. We ate supper at the diner. Merrill finished front steps. Called for food for Austin funeral on Friday.

Trustee’s meeting, 7:30. Merrill went. He took table and chairs over to CEC for UMW meeting on Thursday. Nuclear explosion in Russia.

Dr. Scanlon 1:30. All okay. They did extra exam because of Plaquenil. $40. Got a minute timer, $3.99 at Fays. Merrill did work on June’s tractor. He stopped at Howard and Evelyn’s. All are well there.

50th anniversary Helen and Allen Rockwood. We went. A nice party. So good to see everyone again. We went to Jim’s after for awhile. Orv in hospital with broken leg in Ogdensburg. Snowing.

We went to church, 51 there, Communion. Cold. Snowed over night in places. Women’s communion breakfast at Evans Mills Church.

Sent order for vitamins, also sent Medicare claims for Dr. Scanlon. Merrill went up to Gerald Delles. I feel terrible. Too much of a weekend. Cloudy. Some rain.

Warmer, cloudy. We stated cleaning upstairs. Merrill washed wood work up there. My arthritis still hurting.

PPR meeting at 7:30 at Evans Mills. 8 there. Merrill took me. Meeting about marriage questionnaire and July and August church hours. Thunder storm in morning. Raining. Merrill put new church candles in.

Linda B left for 2 weeks training in Pennsylvania. Cloudy, rained some. Washed upstairs curtains. Sent Jim and Pat anniversary card. Merrill mowed church and CEC lawns. We went for groceries in PM. Gerald Delles here.

Washed bedding from upstairs. Merrill mowed lawns. He went over to church but Gerry didn’t come to dig up pipe. Frieda Kent stopped by. Patty called in evening. Got cards from Vern’s and Jim’s.

Jim and Pat’s 17th anniversary. Merrill worked at Horton’s for first time this spring. Washed clothes.

Mother’s Day. We went to church, 64 there. We went to Jim’s for dinner. Audrey went with us. Joel has eye infection. We went to choir cantata at church in evening. I taped it. Just great. Vern and June called in evening.

I called Randy Beckstead to mow church lawns. Merrill worked at Horton’s all day. He helped move tables and chairs at church in evening. I washed my rust colored coats. Nice day.

Mother and Daughter Banquet, 130 there. Held at the church. Very nice. I picked first asparagus and rhubarb. Merrill worked at Horton’s all day. Sent Patty card, note and money. Corrine and C.M. man here in evening about CEC.

They have cement slabs laid on overpass. Merrill worked at Horton’s all day. I froze first asparagus. I didn’t go to Lodge. School budget voted down by 2 votes. We didn’t vote.

Patty’s 39th birthday. Merrill got hair cut. He got new belt for lawn mower. He mowed lawns. Merrill got hand caught in emery belt. Hurt two fingers. One badly. Administrative Council at 7 PM. We went. College student with survey there.

Merrill home again today. Cloudy. Rained off and on. I froze asparagus.

Steve graduates from Oswego College tonight. Cloudy in morning but a great day. I washed clothes. Merrill went to dump and to Susan’s and Junes about CEC tax exemption. Armed Forces Day.

Steve’s party at Oswego. Very nice. Gehm’s, Jan and girls, and Jim’s there also. Thunder storm there. No rain. Very hot and muggy. We stopped at Fays on way home. We met Kathy Halbert for first time.

Sent for Buick license, $31. Merrill worked at Horton’s in PM building fence. Margaret K stopped by with notes for tax meeting.

Tax Grievance Day. Merrill went for CEC. He worked at Horton’s in PM. Sent Don Gehm birthday card.

Still raining. I made up beds upstairs. Made chair pad. Baked cookies for first in ages.

We went to city in AM for garden plants. Got curtains and shades for our bedroom. Also shower curtains. Merrill worked at Horton’s in PM. We saw Patty and Jean at McCrorys

We went to church. Meeting after church. Decided to have church during July and August at 9 AM. We went to Don’s in PM. A heifer hurt his knee this AM. Roy there also. Boys milked for Don. We took plants to cemetery. I called Richard.

Memorial Day. A just great day. Had picnic supper outside. Merrill planted most of garden. We got out lawn furniture. Merrill worked at Horton’s building fence in the afternoon. Belile kids in pool for the first.

Merrill went to Horton’s at 7 AM to fit ground. They brought over some young stock from Mills. Called several about robe for minister’s ordination.

Merrill went to Horton’s at 9 AM. Sent Dr. Siegel claims (2) to Blue Cross. Merrill got home at 8 PM. I went to lodge, 7 out.

Merrill worked at Horton’s. The Cha family moved in today across the street. We went for groceries in evening. Tractor trailer accident by overhead. Driver hurt bad. I washed clothes.

Howard and Evelyn’s 34th anniversary. Merrill worked at Horton’s all day. Wrote Vern’s. The Cha’s brought more furniture.
