Jim went to game at Theresa. Addressed Christmas cards. Worked all day. Didn’t go to church.

Roads slippery in morning. Mailed Christmas cards.

Vern got home for vacation. I waited in city for him. Did Christmas shopping.

Quite cold. Washed my hair. Sent more cards.

Got radio from Tony. H had fixed it for us. $12.00. Merrill & Jim went to Theresa in evening for it. Killed beef today.

Shop Christmas party. Went to Morgia’s for dinner. Had nice time. Worked until 4:00 PM. Got $5.00 bonus. Vern put radio & phonograph in TV cabinet. Nice.

We went to city shopping. Raining & freezing on. Very slippery. Wrapped gifts.

Still very slippery. We went to church. Donna’s 13th birthday.

Had our tree in evening. All got nice gifts. Merrill, electric shaver. Vern, luggage. Jim, leather jacket & watch. I got jewelry set. Baked, washed & ironed. Boys cleaned. Didn’t work today at shop.

We went out home for dinner. Nice day but roads slippery going. Ken’s were there also. Davy got big tractor.

Men went to Theresa in evening. Russell Schell went through Philadelphia bridge during night. I went to Sears at noon for porch light. Got Vern other luggage.

Merrill did some of beef. Vern put on doorbell & porch light. Merrill went to special lodge meeting.

Roads slippery this morning. Snowing in evening. Frances S. took last of us to her house at noon.

Washed. We all went to Theresa in PM. Merrill & Vernon got hair cuts.

About 14 ° below zero last night. Very cold all day. Merrill & Jim went to Theresa to get beef ground. Didn’t go to church.

Still cold. Merrill & I went to party at Duff’s. Rappole’s, Mower’s, Ward’s, & Hall’s there. I worked all day.
