Uncle Berle & I went to World Day of Prayer. Boys went to Grange. Merrill, Uncle Berle, & I went to Quarterly Conference supper.

Baked bread, cookies, cake. Finished ironing. We played cards in evening. Quite cold in PM from wind.

Merrill & boys took Uncle Berle home. Took eggs up home. I was sick to my stomach all day. Boys went to Sunday School & church.

Feel punk today. Didn’t wash. Merrill went to lodge.

Washed clothes in PM. Made brown bread.

I went to lodge. Started ironing. I went to Home Bureau program meeting for district number 5 at Lodge Hall.

Merrill & I went to city. I gave blood to Red Cross. Second time. Got Jim pants. Merrill got overalls.

Feel lazy today. Very snowy & slippery in morning. Several accidents in Philadelphia. Greyhound bus almost went in river by school. Vernon went to game at Mills. Philadelphia won.

Washed kitchen windows & cleaned cupboards. Finished reading the book. The Silver Chalice. Very good.

Quite cold. Boys went to Sunday School. Boys & I went to church. Nice sermon. Good turnout. Lazy day.

Washed & ironed. Baked bread. Merrill went to lodge. Grange went to Antwerp for program tonight but I didn’t go.

W.S.C.S. at Carrie Dunn’s I didn’t go. Merrill & I took eggs to manor. Took crib out home for Brenda. Jim & I went to Lenten Church service in evening.

Awfully windy during night & today. Grange. Merrill, Jim, & I went. The Miller’s made official visit. Took in 7 new members.

Martha came home from school with boys. Boys went to game. Last one of the season. I went to meeting in school library on health resources.

Made doughnuts. Don’t feel too good today. Have head ache. Stormy by spells.

Baked pies & cakes. Quite cold. Men went to woods. I wrote to Dot.

We all went to church. Boys went to Sunday School. Wrote letters to Helen Ramos, Ethel Wagner, & Uncle Berle. We went to show in evening.

Washed & ironed. Merrill went to lodge. Took cake for lunch.

Carl Hall got home from Korea. Merrill & I went to city. Got light blue & white print for dress. Jim & I went to church. Merrill got new tire for car. Cut out dress.

Finished dress. Quite cold. I went to lodge in evening.

Grand day. Very warm. Baked bread. Vern went to basketball playoff at city.

Friday the 13th. Another nice spring day.

Baked pies. Vern isn’t feeling so good. Headache. Boys & I went to 4-H meeting at Allen’s. Merrill drawed fertilizer. Got letter from Pauline.

Boys went to Sunday School. Vern wore new suit for first time. We took crate of eggs out home. Uncle Berle & Ken’s were there. Rained about all day.

Washed & ironed. Sent Roberta birthday card. Merrill went to lodge.

Roberta’s first birthday. Vi, Carrie, Tony, & I went to Gouverneur. Jim & I went to church. Very muddy.

Merrill & I went to Grange. 15 juvenile there.

Very muddy. Raining. I went to Home Bureau at Jean Parker’s in evening. Lula gave food lesson. I taught Religious Ed at school in PM.

Merrill went to all day milk meeting at city. I covered lamp shade. Mike & Marge Mitchel’s 2 month old baby died today.

Nice day. Vern went with Juniors collecting for auction. Put stuff in our garage. Made birthday cake for Grandpa Haggerty, Uncle Berle, Merrill, Roberta, Eleanor & Juanita.

Merrill’s 44th birthday. We went out home for dinner. Took Grandpa with us from Uncle Earle’s. Uncle Berle, Ken’s, Don’s, & Dad’s also there. Boys went to Sunday School.

Washed & ironed. Merrill went to lodge.

Made anniversary cake for the Caird’s. Took about all day. Carrie D. had card party for Rebekah’s.

Mr. & Mrs. Everett Caird’s 50th anniversary. Eleanor’s 25th birthday. 80 present at lodge. Was very nice. Caird’s, Uncle Len, Betty, & Abbie were here for supper.

Juanita’s 24th birthday. Sleepy today. Taught last Religious Ed class at school for this Easter season. Merrill & I went to show in evening.

Evelyn Barker married to Alger Shippee. Sure tired today. Slept all PM. Made sponge cake. Got letter from Carl from Germany. He is sick with gall stones.

Mrs. Pilbeam’s 57th birthday. Cafeteria supper at church. Our circle. Good turn out.

Boys & I went to Sunday School. Boys & I went to church. Church was fill. Wrote Angie. Boys got brooder ready for chicks.

Cloudy. Washed & ironed. Junior class had auction at school. Made $68.00. Merrill went to lodge. Uncle Len & Betty’s anniversary.

We took eggs to Manor. Went up home. Boys got 125 chicks at Cox’s. Vern & Jim stayed out of school in PM to go with us.

Raining. Cleaned upstairs. Merrill, Jim, & I went to Grange in evening. Vern started working on living room chair.

Finished cleaning upstairs. Painted hall & stair steps. cleaned boys room. Grand day.

Cleaned our bedroom. Made cookies. Men built fence. Grand day.

Baked cake & pies. Vernon started framework on chair.

Easter Sunday. I had charge of Easter breakfast. Fed 100. Boys & I went. Vern had part in program. We all went to church. Grand sermon & music. Church full.

Washed & ironed. Cleaned den. Vern worked on chair. Merrill went to lodge.

I went to W.S.C.S. at Mabel Wagner Allen’s. Good turn out. Raining. Got letter from Carl from Germany.

Mother & Dad Tryon’s 47th anniversary. Cleaned sun porch & started living room. Grand day. Went to Rebekah’s. D.D.P. Edna Backus made official visit.

Carl Hall goes back from 30 day furlough. Is home from Korea. Cheryl & Vickie were here all day. Finished cleaning dining room.We all went to 4-H meeting at Shirley Cooper’s in evening.

Dad’s birthday. Raining. We all went to city in PM. Met Eleanor & Roberta coming out here to stay over night.
