Another warm day. 83°. Jessie here to clean. Helen Kiechle called this PM. We had a great visit. She gets around with a motorized wheel chair now. I called Ken Gardner about leveling monument at cemetery. Jim called in evening. He and 3 other guys go back to Mass. In the morning until Sunday.

Very warm. 85° and 54°. I had call from Hazel Boyle about VIP picnic. She is moving here September 1st, upstairs.

Partly cloudy. Warm. It is in today’s Times that Pat Brancetello, 60 years, died Monday of cancer. He was buried in a private cemetery back of his farm and house.

A very warm day. Nice breeze. I went to church with Sherri and Jim. First I’ve been there in five weeks. Jolie called in PM again in evening.

A very hot day. 90°, 68°. They started work on side of building by my living room window. They spend more time not working. Folks here all day from HUD inspecting building. Spent hours in office with Hope. I bet she’s tired tonight. Dr. Sanni’s office called to remind me of my appointment tomorrow.

Very humid. Some rain in forenoon. 87° and 73°. I took bus to eye center. Guys are working on my window. Dr. Sanni 1 PM. Pressure 12 and 12. Go back in 3 months. Jim called in early evening.

Cooler. The noisy crew here working on windows. 7 AM to 3:30 PM. I washed clothes. Bertha Archie stopped in to say she’s going to VIP picnic. Dorothy Kellogg called.

Much cooler. Seems great after being so humid. 72° high, 42° low. The guys outside my window most of day, working on siding. Today would have been Don’s 78th birthday.

Sunny day. Great! 74° 36° I talked with Lyla. Jim and Nancy here. They were on their way to New England States with Fred and Marlene on their bikes. They are coming back Wednesday. I have VIP calls from Dorothy K and David Liscum.

Sunny. Nice. 79°. I took yellow cab to and from Washington Street Plaza for first time. I got my eye drops and also groceries. Jolie called in evening but her phone was run down so we didn’t talk long.

Quite warm. Humid. I went to church with Sherri and Jim. Art and Madeline Miles in church. Jill called in evening. She likes her new job. She has her own office.

A nice day. Lyla came after me at 8 AM. Kathy drove us to Canada to Elgin’s and Carmi’s. Elgin had a delicious dinner. We got back to city at 6 PM. A great day together. Elgin played his new organ for us. Also his piano. I returned Dorothy Kellog’s call. Lidia Souva had a colonoscopy. I stopped at Philadelphia bank and got a check cashed.

Another warm day. 85°. I talked with Juanita. Mike McCarthy called with his reservation.

Very warm. I sent order to Healthy Living for briefs, peds, and watch.

Another hot day. 89°. Jessie here. We went to Big M for groceries. Vern called in AM to say they’s be here about 3 PM. They brought me nice pictures in an album he took at Merrill and Eleanor’s burial. We went shopping at Ames in the mall. We ate at Berkeaters. I talked with David and Dorothy. I got white purse, hangers, and a shower curtain liner.

Hot. 85° 72°. Very humid. A lazy day. Too hot to do anything.

Still hot but not so humid. We didn’t get any rain here in the city. Some places got some. I called Jim. He was at Nancy’s. They are going up to Adirondack Mountains later today. Will be back tomorrow.

Sunny. Hot. 90°. I didn’t go to church. Jim Nash preached at Stone Mills. I washed some white clothes in AM. Jim and Nancy here on bike on way home from the mountains. Jolie called in evening.

Getting hotter and dryer. Nice breeze. 91°. They started tearing down the old case school building on Washington Street today. I talked with Lyla. Also Bertha A. I gave Hope a copy of my birth certificate and Medicare card. Coby Slate called.

90°. Hot. Nice breeze. VIP picnic at the Park. Seven members present. Bertha A, Hazel B. and I went to Para transit bus. Loads of food from Shelby’s. Delicious.

Hot. Hot! 93°. A breeze but a hot one. Some towns have opened air condition places for people to cool off. I trimmed my hair in evening.

Record heat. 95° here. 100° and higher in some other places. Sure takes a person’s energy. I wrote Jolie and Zack and sent some clippings from the Times. Juanita called in evening. We talked until 11:45 PM.

At last. Much cooler. 83° just in time as my bedroom fan conked out this morning. It set off the heat alarm. Jim called in PM.

Quite hot today. Madison, Shawn Michael and Jolie called. Also Vern. They are all set to go on their family camping trip to West Virginia. Monday at 7:30 AM. Sherri called. We are going to church at 9:15 AM. She and I are to be greeters. Jolie called back in evening.

Partly sunny. Nice breeze. I went to church with Jim and Sherri. Jim preached. Sherri and I were greeters. Rev. Dora in Zimbabwe. She will be home Thursday. Jim and Nancy here in evening. Nancy brought me nice six muffin tin. They couldn’t fine me a fan.

Sunny. 82° high. 64° low. Esther Taylor, her son Bob and wife and Alice porter here in PM. Esther thinking of selling her house. I received part of package from Healthy Living.

Sunny. Great day. I called Lyla in AM. All went well with Cheryl yesterday. There are 40 forest fires burning in the west tern states of USA. It is so very dry all over. There are fires in the Adirondacks also.

Partly cloudy. 83°. Some rain in evening. Jessie here to clean. We went to Big M and Kinney’s drug store. I got stuff for colonoscopy exam preparation. Catered Barbeque here tonight at 5 PM. (Schuler’s Restaurant). Hamburgers, hot dogs, ad sausage. All free. Very good. About 65 -70 present. I called Jim. He hasn’t found me a fan yet. None anywhere. Jim and Nancy brought me fan Merrill used. Jolie called in late evening. 11:15 PM.

Rained most of night. It is so badly needed. Cloudy day with some sun. I got rest of package I sent for. Jim and friends camping near Boonville.

Cooler today with strong breeze. No fans on today. I got card from Vern’s from Cacapon Resort State Park in West Virginia. All are having a great time. It’s a lovely place. Jolie called in evening all upset after her call with her Aunt Vickie and also Jill.

Cloudy day. Some rain. I went to church with Sherri and Jim. Rev. Dora and Sarah Kerley back from Zimbabwe. Sara gave an interesting talk about their trip there. It has been a long afternoon and evening for some reason.

Partly cloudy. Some sun. 79° high 61° low. I did some hand laundry. Vern called in evening. They had a good week camping. Got home last night. Vern may go back teaching a couple classes. They called him to offer him the job. I sent check to Philadelphia church.

A great sunny day. 78°. I made two kinds of Jello for tomorrow. Jim here on bike in evening. He’s been busy mowing lawns in Oswego County. He has to work rest of the week also.

Partly cloudy. I’ve had a busy day getting ready for tomorrow. I called hospital. I’m to be there at 8:15 AM. Also to take my living will copy. I talked with Patty.

Sunny. Dr. Weinstein and hospital at 8:30. Colonoscopy. Vern got here and took me over to hospital. All went well. Dr. Weinstein removed a little more from around the area I had a polyp in October last year. Everything okay. I go back in two years. Vern went to store for me after lunch. He left at 3 PM. Patty called. Also Jim. Lyla called earlier.

A great day. 79°. Jolie called. Florence and Lydia was in to look at my cactus plat that is getting ready to blossom tonight.

Quite windy. Sunny. Rained hard in evening. I went to church with Nash’s. The covenant players there. Very good. We had a covered dish dinner after. Very good. I had a nosebleed in church and had to go to restroom. First one in ages. Jill and Shane here in PM. Donna Ellis called in evening. She offered me a ride to Oswego tomorrow. Katrina has entered Oswego College and Marty has started at Plattsburgh. A new four track race track has opened at Beaver Falls in Lewis County.

Cloudy. Thunderstorms. 78° and 63°. Bill mowed the lawns for the first time in weeks. Thunderstorm and rain in the afternoon.

Some clouds. Some sun. I washed clothes in AM. Jim called in morning. He said he would take me to Vern’s Friday if I wanted him to. I called Vern’s in evening. Vern at church meeting. June and I had a nice visit. Juanita called in late evening. Jericho is with her this week. He tore his ear almost off at play at his day care. They were able to sew it back on and he is doing great.

Another great day. Jessie here. She took me to drug store. I got cards and a birthday gift for Jordan.

Very humid and warm. I finished packing my suitcase. It is hard to know what to wear this time of year. Jim came after me about 4 PM. We ran into rain at Sandy Creek and it poured all the way and into the evening. Jim and Vern went over to Dan’s so Jim could see his place before Jim left at 10:30. It was still raining.

Jordan’s 2nd birthday party. Jordan and Lydia spent part of forenoon with us. They are such sweet little kids. The party was at Dan and Robin’s at 4 PM. Jut family. A lovely meal and a great time. Jordan was so happy and excited about all of it. I gave him a remote car and he loved it. We went to Syracuse mall so June could pick up her new sewing machine. Vernon made a huge sand box for Jordan and Lydia.

Cool but nice day. I went to church with June and Vern. They brought me home I PM. We ate lunch at Bob Evans. We stopped at Ken and Esther’s flee market. Ken not doing too well. Good to see him. Their flea market closes 1st of October. We drove by Oswego Speedway. There were cars and campers everywhere. A huge crowd for the races all week.

A beautiful Labor Day. Sunny and not too hot. I washed some clothes. Jill called in evening looking for her dad. She wanted to take us out to eat for his birthday. She couldn’t get him on his cell phone so he probably was riding his bike. I watched the Jerry Lewis Telethon most of the day.

Cloudy day. 73° and 61°. VIP meeting at 2 PM. 12 present plus Linda. We are going to meet every other month Dave Smith from Para Transit was speaker. Lyla called in evening.

68° and 48°. Great day. On cool side. I got thank you pooh bear card from Jordan and family. I played Pedro in evening. We had four tables. Good to be playing again. I mailed in absentee ballet. I voted for Carolyn Fitzpatrick. I called Jolie but got her answering machine. She called back later but had to go put Madison to bed so we didn’t get to talk long. I talked with Madison. They have a new large trampoline.

Another great day. Exercise class starts for fall session. 9:30 – 10:15 AM. Only 7 showed up. We need three more. Vi called in PM. Ginny Delles is over here in hospital. She was coughing up blood. Mayor Butler called in evening asking me to vote for his son on m absentee ballot. I voted for Mrs. Fitzpatrick. We don’t need the mayor’s son joining their clique. Jim called in evening. He leaves for Boston with the “Road Dogs” tomorrow. In two weeks he goes to Delaware.
