Called several about food for Robertson’s. Still very hot, 90’s. Joyce Robertson died of cancer last night. Sent Tracy card. Merrill worked at Horton’s. He had two flat tires on tractor. We walked up to corner to see work progress in evening.

Still hot, 90’s. Merrill finished work at Horton’s. He went to Carthage and Lafargeville for them. Got bra from Lane Bryant I sent for. They started trucking fill on corner project.

85°. New Watertown Pirates ball team arrive today. Merrill cleaned church and put in new candles. I got my hair cut at Tracy’s, $5.00. Laurie has opened new store in Civic Building. Thunder storms most of PM. Mom would have been 91 today.

Another beautiful day. Jim, Pat, Jill, and Joel, here for cook out. Jolie is in Hyde Park. We went to Hyde Lake in PM. We went to Joyce Robertson’s funeral in morning. Very large funeral at church. Had radishes for first.

Father’s Day. Merrill, Joey, Jeff, and Bill Mowers went to Father and Son breakfast at church. We went to church, 65 there. We went to city in PM. Saw Carrie and Dwane Thompson at Sam Keep. Went to farewell party for Rev. and Mrs. Owen. 4200 attended Watertown Pirates game baseball. First game they played here. Lost 15-0 against Utica Blue Socks.

Beautiful day. Merrill started painting on house. Got both porches painted. Belile’s putting fence around their pool. Watertown Pirates won second game played against Utica Blue Socks.

Another great day. Merrill painted on house ordered 4 gallon more paint from Sears. Our road closed most of day, putting in water pipes. Lodge went to Lewis House, Carthage for banquet. They forgot we were coming. Had shower for Vicky Flynn, 13 there.

We went for groceries in AM. 17 days without rain. Merrill mowed lawns. Helped at Horton’s in PM. I wrote June and sent her card and check. Windy, but a beautiful day, 90°. My arms hurting today.

Beautiful day. Windy. We went to Sears and Garnes after paint and supplies. Stopped at Adderley’s and looked at used cars. Thunder stopped in evening. First rain in 18 days. Graduation tonight.

Cooler, only 55° this morning. Merrill went to dump. I washed clothes. Darcy went for interview to modeling school. Jim and kids go to Portaferry until next Saturday. Southern Baptist bought old Baptist Church.

June’ 45th birthday. Still cool and cloudy. We went to church, 37 out. Froze 2 packages of berries. A horse van had accident down the road. Two horses, a puppy, and one person slightly hurt. They took the horses to Petrie’s.

Thunder and rain during the night. Muggy and cloudy today. Vacation Bible School starts today, 9:30-11:30 for five days.

Made cookies for Vacation Bible School. Had strawberry short cake for supper. Nice today but windy. Merrill went over town for milk. Southern Baptist form Georgia in town working on old Baptist church.

Darcy’s 13th birthday. Another nice day. Hot. Washed clothes. Washer not working right. made potato salad for tomorrow. Got card about Haggerty reunion, July 17. Merrill went over to Coopers.

A beautiful day. Picnic at Vern’s. We went to church, 31 out, communion. First 9;30 church. Got to Vern’s about noon. Jim’s got there at 12:30. Steve at Myers camp for weekend. Great day together. We stayed overnight.

Men worked in garage all day setting up their shop. A hot muggy day. We decided to stay overnight. Steve came home in evening from Myers.

Vern’s took Dan to Syracuse for his dentist appointment. Steve went to work. Merrill picked 5 quarts of berries in Oswego. We stopped at Ken’s. Had lunch at Don’s and Beulah’s and to see Karen at Adams Museum where she started work today Got home at 4 PM.

Much cooler. Merrill mowed lawns. Mower quit so he had to go to Mills for plug. Wrote Vern’s. Joey brought flowers. Temperature down to 40° during night. Carl Scee is at Donna’s in Felts Mills now.

Sent Jolie card, letter, and $5.00. Sent Sears paint payment and renewed 3 Reader’s Digest’s. Merrill went to bank. He started black trim. Worked at it all day. Telephone out of order. I reported it from Belile’s.

Another hot day but cooler than yesterday. Merrill finished window trim. Looks nice. We had fresh peas from garden. Cheryl brought Merrill check for work.

Chase Harrington Manor ground breaking on corner of South Main Street and Irish Avenue. We went to it. Vern’s got started today at 7 AM. They came back here for supper and then went back home as they did not have canvas at Alex Bay. Merrill cleaned church. June called Steve.

Beautiful day, 80’s. Haggerty Reunion at Whatake Park, Lowville. Aunt Maude, Merrill, and I went. The rest there was Uncle Len’s family. About 75 there. Church this morning, 31 there. We went to Hall’s in evening. Howard was working. Jeff, Sandy, Hal,Kim Yeardon, Evelyn, and Dawn were home.
